The Champion of Democracy
CNN called it a "stunning evolution." Suddenly the always honest Bill Barr was saying things that apparently was music to the ears of the left. In taped testimony we learned what Attorney General William Barr though about and openly said about Donald Trump's narrative of the 2020 election. Barr, you see, investigated Trump's accusations and never found a "there" there. Barr said he defended the DOJ’s neutrality at the meeting, noting to Trump that the DOJ “doesn’t take sides in elections” and that the “department isn’t an extension of your legal team.” Yup. that's William Barr alright. When you hire him you get integrity.
So now William Barr who the left hated for being honest about the Russia hoax is now the champion of democracy?
It appears that Barr is their most compelling witness.
The question is what is his testimony for?
Oddly enough, the committee chairman said Monday night that the panel will not make any criminal referrals!

So evidently the committee is simply going to try and demonize Donald Trump before the 2024 election and hope that he runs again. I'm more and more convinced that they think their only chance is to run against Trump again. Most likely they will be dumping Biden and Harris before then.
William Barr has always been a man of integrity as opposed to the terrible AG's that the left has saddled this country with. Most notable being the last three: Garland, Lynch and Holder. Holder you may recall refused to testify, yet wasn't shackled or tossed into a jail cell. There is a term to describe this contradiction. It's called "liberal privilege."
I look forward to the coming elections and next year's committee investigations.

Regardless of Trump runs or not, this whole fiasco does not look good for the Democrats. Sadly they are so wrapped up in their agenda that they don't realize they are the problem.
I wouldn't call it "liberal privilege". It's actually hypocrisy.
