The Hearings on the border have begun

Yesterday began the new House of Representatives look at the crisis on the southern border. I'm happy to say that C-Span is covering it and I found it very satisfying. There were supposed to be 4 witnesses, but one could not make it due to an ice storm in Texas. The Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan immediately ripped into the Biden administration for leaving the border wide open:
“Make no mistake, the Biden administration is carrying out its plan,” Jordan said.
“We all heard Secretary Mayorkas sit in front of this committee and said, ‘We are executing our plan on the border,'” he added. “And we all heard President Biden say we’re trying to make it easier for people to get here. Well, they’re certainly succeeding in that.”
“The worst part is that none of this had to happen,” Jordan went on. “Under President Trump, the border was secure, under President Biden there is no border — and Americans are paying the price.”

Not counting all the "got-aways" the administration has released about 1.7 Million people into the nation's interior. With the exception of Fox News the msm has largely ignored the massive influx of illegal migrants. Ranking member Rep. Jerry Nadler immediately implied that seeking to protect the border was the same as "racism:"
“The first hearing will showcase the racist tendencies of the extreme MAGA Republican wing of the party that seeks to close the border to refugees from places like Cuba and Venezuela ,” said Nadler.

Ultimately, the hearings will lead to the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. It will be a symbolic statement. Even if House members could get the well deserved conviction, Joe Biden would simply replace Mayorkas with another radical willing to serve the Biden open border policy.

Nadler is a blithering idiot and partisan hack. Almost at the same incompetency level as Biden. I do have a challenge for the morons like Nadler - Show EXACTLY how protecting the border is "racist".

It's laughable that they thought there wouldn't be changes made after the election.

Somehow, after the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, I take anything Jerry "No Nads" Nadler says with a grain of salt. He is less than worthless!
