Medicare, Assisted Living, Estate Planning, Elder Care, etc.
Hey, so if anyone is looking for any unprofessional, but real world advice on how to navigate the crazy world of elder care, I can help free of charge here on this forum with some of the experiences and lessons I've learned in the past year as Legal Health Proxy and Durable Power of Attorney for my mother.
I've gained invaluable knowledge concerning any and all of the following areas:
- Estate Planning (Trusts, Life Estates, etc.)
- Medicare (Part A, Part B, Part D, Medigap/Supplemental)
- Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Impairment, Long-Term Care options
Fortunately, I haven't had to deal with Medicaid or any other kind of "Extra Help" plans so I can't really offer any words of wisdom in that area.
