French Monarchs Family Tree

Clovis to Napoleon III

This is a coincidence. Seriously. I've been a fan of usefulcharts for a long time. It just happens that today's video is about France.

A coincidence, I tell you!

Oh great, do we need to match the names and dates, an essay form (if so how many paragraphs), or will it be a multiple choice?  Me being a freshman I didn't get into all this history stuff yet and am unprepared.

Very interesting (in April I was in France for four days and did get to tour Versailles).

The person of interest is Eleanor

She was a very interesting and powerful woman, even when exiled by Henry II. The personalities of Eleanor of Aquitaine, her husband Henry II, and their three living sons (Richard, Geoffrey, John) were quite accurately portrayed in the 1968 movie, "The Lion in Winter".

A  very fine film with an excellent cast and a superb dialogue.

It certainly is, and I'm glad you like it, too. I never tire of watching it.
