BLM Chicago backs Palestine after Hamas terrorist invasion of Israel

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

CHICAGO (TND) —   Black Lives Matter Chicago publicly asserted its support for Palestine Tuesday in the wake of the terrorist invasion of Israel, sparking outrage on social media.

The organization shared a photo to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Tuesday of a Palestinian flag tied to a paraglider. The photo bears the words "I stand with Palestine."

"That is all that is it!" BLM Chicago   wrote   alongside the photo.

BLM Chicago expanded on the sentiments on its Facebook account, sharing   photos   of "conversation piecers" surrounding the Israel-Hamas war. The "conversation piecers" are largely in support of Palestine, with one defining terrorist organization Hamas as "a political party in Gaza, who were also kind of started by Israel."

"Higher education isn’t apical [sic] to everyone and we want to make sure everyone can under [sic] what is happening," the organization wrote on Facebook.

he remarks have drawn the ire of social media users, with some   comparing   the paraglider depicted in the X photo to those used by Hamas terrorists to attack an Israeli music festival Saturday.

"The Jewish & Black communities are often aligned as we take the cause of justice seriously given historical oppression," one user   wrote . "This is appalling from [BLM Chicago]. The image is a Hamas hang glider. The same Hamas that beheaded, burned, raped, murdered & kidnapped for the crime of being Jews."

"While you were posting this, the Black people in Chicago you claim to represent organized and stopped the city from converting Amundsen Park fieldhouse into a migrant shelter without you lifting a finger to help," a user based in Chicago   wrote .

The user was referring to Chicago officials' attempts to   convert   a popular city park into a migrant shelter. The shelter, which was   reportedly   placed on hold this week, would have housed up to 200 migrants for six months.

X owner Elon Musk also weighed in,   replying   "your position is clear" to BLM Chicago's X account.

Other BLM groups have expressed similar stances to that of the Chicago-based group. Black Lives Matter Grassroots shared a   statement   Monday on the "clear parallels between Black and Palestinian people."

"When a people have been subject to decades of apartheid and unimaginable violence, their resistance must not be condemned, but understood as a desperate act of self-defense," the group wrote.

The moral panic that led to the BLM hysteria in 2020 continues to damage our nation. Half the country, based on ignorance of  reality and manipulation by mass media became enamored with Marxist grifters who turned liberal white guilt into fortunes from corporations, governments and donors while peddling racialist nonsense. It led to riots (that would qualify as insurrections in 2023) , billions in damages, deaths, and an assault on public safety that fueled a violent crime surge that resulted murder spike, almost exclusively in minority communities.

The damage is ongoing  as cities have turned into criminal havens where businesses can't operate  and BLM uses it microphone to push for genocide.

When people look back on the early 2020s, the embrace of the toxic BLM movement will be the most difficult to understand.

Uh, trumpism and continued loyalty to a known traitor will be the most difficult thing to understand. It's not even close.

Cannot resist a opportunity to throw a Trump into the mix even when he is not the subject of the article John? Do try to stay on topic.

Must be easier to deflect than admit supporting the BLM position.

Stay on topic?  When the topic is not political? Good luck with that! jrSmiley_86_smiley_image.gif

BLM got it right, MLK’s style of peaceful protest is so last century.  Today, rape, torture, kidnapping, murder and beheading are what’s called for today.

   Mr. Netanyahu open this gate!
Mr. Netanyahu tear down this wall!
Or we will do it for you

Let my people go or we will rape and murder yours.

Transactional politics, baby.

I think Trump has become the get-out-of-everything card. This is BLM we are talking about. The organization founded by people who proudly admitted being Marxists and proud contributors to the 2020 riots. As soon as we have a decent president and a decent FBI Director, BLM will be relabeled as what they are.

Uh, trumpism

And at that point any credibility is lost.  On a serious note, keep up with the topic already.

You have to wonder how the  Jewish kids who  dutifully did all the performative steps to show allegiance to BLM feel after BLM turns out to support actual Nazis.  I guess the problem with the "all lives matter" slogan to some is that it included Jewish lives.

This isn't hard to believe when you understand that BLM is part of the effort to destroy Western values.

These grifters are still putting out content? Amazing. They run out of money to steal from donors?

There's another aspect to this as well. And that is that many people (erroneously) assume the the conflict between Arabs and Jews is a case of racism, racial prejudice. (Which side people consider to be "racist" is, of course, dependent on the person's political biases).

Another assumption many people make is that Jews are "White people" and Muslims are "Brown people". They therefore the Arab-Israeli conflict is basically about racism. But that is false-- it's not about race but its actually about religion.

The notion that Muslims are "non-White" (i.e. "Brown") is a propaganda ploy started sometime ago by Arab propagandists in order to be able to claim "victimhood" and thereby gaining the sympathy of African-Americans. And in may cases it worked.

Judaism is a religion, not a race. There very dark skinned ("Black") Jews. And there are also Blond haired Blue eyed Muslims.

So this conflict is not about race, but rather about religion.

It's really a sad thing that when during the civil rights movement so many activists and supporters of the blacks were Jews, and some died from being so - think of Shwerner and Goodman.  And now, the blacks turn on the Jews.  When I first learned that BLM supported the Palestinians' cause against the Israelis they sure as hell lost me.  BLM can go to Hell along with Hamas.

Make no mistake.   African Americans haven’t turned against Jews en masse.

The radicals ones in BLM have.    A minority of African Americans.    Be it a vocal minority.

I guess I worded that badly, but my last sentence should be clear because it's specific - I have no dispute with African Americans generally.  I'm not a racist, I'm a white man happily married to a Chinese woman for almost 15 years and I live quite comfortably where there are almost no white people at all.
