Jenna Ellis reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in the Georgia 2020 election interference case on Tuesday, becoming the third former Trump campaign attorney to do so.
Ellis, who described herself as part of an "elite strike force team" of attorneys combating unfounded claims of election fraud, pleaded guilty to one count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings.
"If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post election challenges," a tearful Ellis told the judge.
Like the others who took plea deals, Ellis agreed to testify truthfully against her co-defendants, including Trump.
She was sentenced to five years of probation, 100 hours of community service and ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution and write a letter of apology to Georgia citizens.
"How do you plead to aiding and abetting false statements and writings," Fulton County prosecutor Daysha Young asked.
"Guilty," Ellis responded.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) charged Ellis, the former president and 17 others in August in a sprawling racketeering indictment that accused all of them of entering a conspiracy to keep Trump in power following the 2020 election.
Since the indictment, four of the 19 co-defendants have taken plea deals with prosecutors. Scott Hall, a former bail bondsman, last month was the first to do so.
In recent days, three Trump attorneys have followed suit and agreed to testify against the former president.
Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro took plea deals late last week, and Ellis joined them on Tuesday.

This makes 4 people taking the deal...
Is the photo of her a mug shot? Who grins ear to ear and looks so happy in a mug shot?
People on drugs
Sounds like a load of BS the only thing she is sorry about is that she is getting caught.
I think she's sorry she hitched her wagon to a dead horse.
Looks like she is adept at crying and smiling at the same time, her local drama society should take note.
pretty standard fare for basic evangelicalism...
they probably had to work with her over the weekend to get her to stop waving her arms overhead at the same time...
She got off light. Can't wait to read the "apology" letter. If it's anything like some of the "apologies" I've heard it will be a non-apology
she can't show her sorry thumper ass in colorado anymore...
Aww...what a shame...
Give it a few hours, trump will say he has no idea who she is.
This morning he's busy in NY watching Michael Cohen testify against him.
Now that surprises me....trmp actually attending one of this trials
Given the state of his mental decline , he might be telling the truth this time. He thinks he's running against Obama and that the president of Hungary is the president of Turkey.
He's celebrating Thanksgiving early!
(Hungry for Turkey! )

It's not her fault
When she says she didn’t know, she’s referring to whether he would pay for her legal bills. Everyone but her knew the correct answer to that.
Don't you know that anything bad in this world is the fault of Democrats/Liberals/Progressives???
You're catching on.
Of course it is!
The war in Palestine. Climate change. Starving children. Lost cats. Lost dogs. The holes in everyone's drawers. Broken refrigerators. Constant shortage of beer and toilet paper.
Have I missed any thing?
World wide inflation.
Thanks.
Gas shortages. Broken down cars. Worn out sneakers. Holes in jeans. Obesity. Drug addictions. Alcoholism
You forgot the war on Ukraine.
Have I missed any thing?
Speaker of the House, of course.
PD&D plus delusion.
I'll give you delusion as I know you can't come around, as for your other three (PD&D) I suggest you revisit their meanings and then read again.
I dun run out of ideers
Broken guitar strings, flat tires, blown speakers, unfaithful mates, leaky roofs, cancer, foot blisters...
All due to the GOP and fascism.
No, no, no...we're listing what the Democrats/Progressives are to blame for!
And let's not forget broken down Republican members of the House! And worn out members of the House. And....
But I thought the whole thing was a witch hunt? Witches just don't seem to be as strong nowadays as they were in Salem.
Should they have dropped her in the river to see if she was a witch?
I think the new witch tests involve melania being a couple states away from mar-a-lardo...
Not too worry-- the MAGA Morons will give them new life!
(MAGA Morons celebrating Halloween early!)
All of the attorneys who pled guilty should have their law licenses suspended, if not outright revoked. They have proven that they hold the courts in contempt, and that they are unable to practice law ethically.
It’s gotten to the point that the decision to defend Donald Trump period means you are incapable of practicing law ethically.
"She was sentenced to five years of probation, 100 hours of community service and ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution and write a letter of apology to Georgia citizens."
Trump's punishment should be the same

If Trump takes a plea deal it should be similar. I'm not sure he'll be offered one though.
To the best of my knowledge he is not eligible for a plea deal.
What are the eligibility criteria for a plea deal other than the prosecutor offering one and the defense accepting?
Poorly stated on my part.. Once Fanni Willis has all the 'flippers' she needs, she won't be handing out any more plea deals.
here is what she pleaded guilty to
The interesting thing about all these individual numbers (that purport to be specific) is that they were almost certainly created out of thin air.
