A formal impeachment inquiry

A formal impeachment inquiry
“We think a formal vote of the majority of the House, on record, for a power that solely resides with the House — that helps us if, in fact, we’ve got to go to court,” Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, one of the GOP leaders in the impeachment push, told reporters Tuesday. “Hopefully, just passing it in and of itself is enough to say, ‘OK, guys, come in and talk to us.’”

Link to Quote: House expected to vote to formalize GOP impeachment inquiry into Biden (msn.com)

The word out of Washington DC is that the House has the votes needed to formally authorize their impeachment inquiry into president Joe Biden. A vote is expected late this afternoon. A formal impeachment inquiry will make it easier to enforce subpoenas which the White House has been rejecting.

Hunter Biden is scheduled to appear today for a private House deposition. It is still unclear if he will appear. If he doesn't, he will be held in contempt of congress and a subpoena will be issued. I will ask once again, if anyone expects Joe Biden's corrupt DOJ to enforce such a subpoena as they did when it involved two individuals connected to Donald Trump?

Thus far the House Committee has shown millions of dollars flowing from foreign governments into shell companies and then to various Biden family members. There have been e-mails from Hunter Biden referencing money going to the president. Joe Biden stands contradicted on his assertions he gave to the public on not knowing, never discussing with his son and involvement with Hunter's associates. The strange part of it is to hear House democrats say "let's stop." We have reached the point where the House Committee needs to compel people to provide answers and we are facing the specter that not a single democrat in the House will vote to get those answers.

In other news:

Israeli forces have begun pumping sea water into the Hamas tunnels.

Joe Biden warns Israel that they are losing support from "the rest of the world."

The USS Mason shot down another Houthi drone over the Red Sea this morning.

NH Governor Sununu endorsed Presidential candidate Nikki Haley. In the state of NH that is a golden endorsement.

Last but not least comes from the blue city of Seattle where a student failed a quiz for saying only women can get pregnant.

Good morning.

This should be a bust day for the House.

I predict the dems all vote against, and the Republicans pass with the defection of a single member.

I got a rare honor yesterday on Twitter. Donald Trump liked my reply. The subject was Rudy Giuliani. My comment was: "He broke the back of the Mafia. He was also one of the best mayors the city of New York ever had."

Fireworks are already beginning:

Hunter went to the capitol and made a public statement and left. That clearly does not fulfill the House request for a private deposition.

Rankin made a statement with the squad and now Comer is demanding that Hunter appear as requested.

A newly resurfaced video clip shows   President Biden   saying in 2021 that those who defy the January 6 Committee's congressional subpoenas should be held "criminally" accountable.

Biden made the comments in October 2021 on the White House lawn while being questioned by reporters.

"Do you have a message to people who defy congressional subpoenas on the January 6 Committee?" a reporter asked Biden.  "I hope that the committee goes after them and holds them accountable criminally," the president responded at the time.

Oh, you know, the millions from foreign nations flowing into 20 shell companies and then going to Biden family members who were using encrypted phones and the e-mails in which Hunter threatened foreign nationals that they better send the money or else. Or the fact that the people supposedly investigating Hunter allowed the statute of limitations run out on serious tax fraud charges via the "special counsel.". Or the lack of interest on bribery, money laundering and FARA violations. Or the IRS whistleblowers who claimed they were told to limit their investigations. Or the loan that Joe Biden supposedly made without any loan agreement or anything in writing for that matter.
