The end of Saleh al-Arouri
Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, the Israel Defense Forces' spokesman, said the Israeli military is "in a high state of readiness for any scenario" on Tuesday night, without specifically mentioning the supposed Arouri strike. “The most important thing to say tonight is that we are focused and remain focused on fighting Hamas."

Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri was killed yesterday via an Israeli airstrike in the failed state of Lebanon. Fortunately, Israel did not inform  US officials about the attack in advance.
Hamas confirmed Arouri’s death.  I think we can all agree that it was a great moment for civilization. The Hamas thugs issued the following statement:

The cowardly assassinations carried out by the Zionist occupation against the leaders and symbols of our Palestinian people inside and outside Palestine will not succeed in breaking the will and steadfastness of our people or in undermining the continuation of their valiant resistance,” senior Hamas official Izzat al Rishq said in a statement, arguing that the strike “proves once again the abject failure of the enemy to achieve any of its aggressive goals in the Gaza Strip.”

Threats won't help them. Israel is fighting for its life and unlike Joe Biden knows that it is at war. Speaking of Biden, the Danish shipping company Maersk is now seeking alternative routes to the Red Sea as Biden continues to have the US Navy play defense. Iran has sent a warship carrying Cruise Missiles to the Red Sea.

In Biden's other war, Ukraine's two largest cities were hit with Russian rockets yesterday as the stalemate their continues.

In other news:

The Epstein documents naming prominent individuals are set to be released to the public. The documents contain 170 names. Bill Clinton is reported to be mentioned at least 50 times in those documents.

Donald Trump has appealed his name being excluded from the state of Maine's ballots.

In a blue state battle, the DOJ is asking the Supreme Court to permit the removal of razor wire from the Texas border region. Blue city mayors are asking for money to accommodate illegal migrants. Speaker Mike Johnson and more than 60 House Republicans will visit the southern border today to try and measure the scope of the crisis.

Federal prosecutors charged Sen Bob Menendez with taking bribes to help Qatar. He faces similar charges related to Egypt.

Yusef Salaam, one of the "Central Park Five," took his oath as a member of the New York City Council yesterday. Gee, what a place that has become!

An appeals court ruled that emergency room doctors in Texas are not required to perform emergency abortions.

Good morning and welcome to Beef Stew time of the year.

OIP.SAbIasGNSN_aQSWEYrcHOAHaLH?w=192&h=352&c=7&r=0&o=5&pid=1.7

Easy to make and it provides so many meals.

Today will be another busy day in Joe Biden's America. Joe is still sleeping right now, but he sleeps soundly because he is not personally affected by his radical policies. His press secretary says Americans will figure out how good it is by election time. I'm sure democrats will figure a way by then.

In the meantime, Bon Appetit.

Israel is fighting for its life

More than a little over dramatic. There is no existential threat to Israel , and particularly not as long as the US supports them with aid and military deterrence.

Threat to something's very existence
Nothing that has happened threatens Israel's very existence.  If you think it does, explain.

If one is the least bit open minded they see Israel viciously attacked and now fighting on three fronts.

It is easy to say what you say from a Chicago suburb.

I dont disagree that Israel was viciously attacked and they are responding. Its not an existential threat.

No one will wipe Israel off the map, the United States, the most powerful military in the history of the world, guarantees Israel's existence.

Its not an existential threat.

If Israel fails to eliminate Hamas what happens to Israel?

It may happen eventually anyway. Iran has them surrounded by proxies and as soon as Iran has a nuclear weapon it will be deployed against Israel.

It was a US policy that created the Iran menace.

Some people call Biden the best friend Israel has ever had.

There have been 14 US presidents since the founding of Israel. None of them proposed abandoning Israel.

You may have heard of a place called Iran. Seems to be a great source for weaponry and money to fund terrorism.

Is that the same Iran that received millions of US dollars and US weaponry from the Obama/Biden and now the Biden/Harris administrations? Is that the same Iran that shouts "Death to Israel" and "Death to America [USA]"?
