Fani's Folly
“These people are on trial for trying to steal an election in 2020,” she said, waving out at the crowd. “I’m not on trial, no matter how hard you try to put me on trial.”

Link to Quote: 5 revelations from the explosive Fani Willis hearing in Georgia (msn.com)

Anyone who was watching cable news yesterday, be it Fox News, MSNBC or CNN, got more entertainment than they bargained for. The hearing being held in the disreputable precinct known as Fulton County Georgia, to determine whether Fulton County’s district attorney’s office should be disqualified from continuing its 2020 election interference prosecution of former President Trump and his allies due to a relationship between top prosecutors on the case, quickly degenerated into a melodrama that defied most norms of a trial. The linchpin of the case against Fulton County DA Fani Willis and her lover was a witness who contested what they told the court about when their romantic relationship began. In other words, Willis & Wade likely lied to the court.

Robin Yeartie (Heroine)

It was Robin Yeartie, a once close friend of Willis, who testified Thursday that the district attorney began a romantic relationship with Wade in 2019, shortly after a municipal court conference and three years prior to when the prosecutors said they began dating.

Aside from the perjury question is the question of whether Willis has financially benefited from hiring Wade.

In court filings, defense attorneys pointed to joint vacations to Aruba and Belize, plus two cruises to the Bahamas and other trips, for which they say Wade paid. Willis and Wade claim they divide their travel expenses “rather evenly.”

However, Wade testified he only had one receipt to back this claim, because Willis otherwise always paid in cash.

Asked about the cash, Willis testified she had always kept a stash because her father told her growing up that, as a woman, she should have at least six months cash in her home at all times.

“I always have cash at the house … all my life,” she said.

After their testimonies concluded, a defense attorney suggested from the gallery that Willis and Wade’s cash system didn’t “pass the smell test.”

5 revelations from the explosive Fani Willis hearing in Georgia (msn.com)

Miss Willis no sooner started as Fulton County D.A. and then the next month, on February 10th, she opened the criminal investigation into the Trump election interference claim. And then months later, on November 1st, she hires her "friend" Nathan Wade as a very special prosecutor. Wade was visibly sweating on the witness stand as he suffered what seemed like a bout of amnesia. Later in the day Fani Willis arrived and was visibly angry. She was not supposed to be listening to the earlier testimony. Evidently, she had because she stormed the witness stand and truly acted as the epitome of a hostile witness.

Fani Willis in the hot seat.

To believe Willis and Wade one must suddenly become a blind noncritical thinker and accept the explanation that Willis was constantly carrying around large amounts of cash. Of course, cash is not traceable.

The Willis investigation was a political vendetta, and it was a farce from the get-go. They wanted to bring a criminal case based on what the word "find " meant. Yesterday it was they who wildly stretched the meaning of words. The lesson of this is simple: Allowing a county D.A. to bring charges against a former U.S. president is absurd and anti-democratic.

The circus will resume today at 9 AM.

Barry Goldwater personally told Nixon he had to leave the White House

Barry Goldwater was asked by Nixon if there were enough votes in the Senate to save him from an impeachment conviction. Barry Goldwater told Nixon he had only 4 votes and "I'm not one of them." That is when Nixon decided to resign.

If Goldwater was alive today, I am certain he would be attacking the deep state that came of age within the last decade.

From your own source:

"To be clear, the impeachment inquiry is not reliant on the FBI's FD-1023. It is based on a large record of evidence, including bank records and witness testimony, revealing that Joe Biden knew of and participated in his family's business dealings," Comer said.

"When asked by the committee about their confidence in the confidential human source, the FBI told the committee the confidential human source was credible and trusted, had worked with the FBI for over a decade, and had been paid six figures."

The FBI itself told the committee that he was credible and trusted by the bureau. That is why nobody can blame Comer.

Have a wonderful day!

I've never heard of the guy. I looked through my comment history from and didn't even see a story here based on this allegation.

Seems like the issue was why the FBI didn't  investigate the tip in a timely manner,  which is still a question. It took Chuck Grassley and House Republicans to actually get the FBI to do its job and investigate these allegations.   He should have been arrested years ago.

Alexei Navalny, the longtime Russian opposition politician and critic of Vladimir Putin -- often considered to be a vocal and prominent thorn in the side of the Russian government -- has died in prison at age 47, according to the prison service.

"On 02/16/2024, in correctional colony No. 3, convicted Navalny A.A. felt ill after a walk, almost immediately losing consciousness. The medical staff of the institution immediately arrived, and an ambulance team was called. All necessary resuscitation measures were carried out, which did not give positive results. The doctors of the emergency medical service pronounced the convict dead," the release says.

CNN  —

The National Archives in Washington, DC, closed early on Wednesday after two people dumped red powder on the display that protects the US Constitution, Archives officials said in a news release.

“The Constitution was unaffected in its encasement. No damage was done to the document itself,” the Archives said in a statement.

The individuals were immediately detained by security at the time of the incident, around 2:30 p.m., and officials are investigating, the Archives said.
