Super and conclusive
"They call it Super Tuesday for a reason. This is a big one," Trump said in a primary night victory speech in front of a large group of supporters at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. "There's never been anything so conclusive."

It was a remarkable night for the leading Presidential candidates with former President Trump almost winning all of the states up for grabs and on the other hand president Joe Biden losing the American Samoa caucuses to an unknown businessman by the name of Jason Palmer. The other problem Joe seems to be having is that "uncommitted" vote. In Minnesota, 19 percent of Democrats cast votes for "uncommitted." Sorry Joe, the people on the left that you catered to are never quite satisfied.

For Nikki Haley there was the minor consolation of winning the state of Vermont, which made her the first woman to win two GOP state primaries. The bad news for her and the never Trumpers is that Trump is now very close to wrapping up the nomination. The Wall Street Journal claims that Haley will drop out today.

Trump's campaign predicted last month that even under the most favorable conditions for Haley, the former president would clinch the nomination by March 19.

Then came this announcement:

"Republican voters have delivered resounding wins for President Trump in every single primary contest and this race is over," Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said in a recent statement. "Our focus is now on Joe Biden and the general election."

There was a bit of good news out of the California:

S upporters held a joint watch party for U.S. Representative Barbara Lee and Lateefah Siman, who's running to succeed Lee, in Downtown Oakland on Tuesday night.

While Lee's campaign volunteers attended the party, Lee skipped it. Instead, she said she was flying back to Washington D.C. to do some work.

She was disappointed with the outcome of the race, coming in fourth place. As of late Tuesday evening, CBS News projected Lee will not advance to the November general election.

On the Senate side it will be liar Adam Schiff vs Republican Steve Garvey in November.

And then came this analysis:

Trump has tapped into a current of dissatisfaction about the state of the country that he has amplified at every opportunity. It is one that could tip the scales in the rematch with Biden, who beat him in 2020.

Republican voters who went to the polls on Tuesday exhibited a deep pessimism about the economy that extends beyond Trump’s loyal base of supporters to many moderate and swing voters that could help determine the election, according to exit polls conducted by Edison Research.

Voters also said they are increasingly alarmed by the situation at the U.S. border with Mexico, with many calling it their top voting issue even while living hundreds or even thousands of miles away.

“There is widespread dissatisfaction with Biden and the way things are going in the county today,” said Mark Baldassare, statewide survey director at the nonpartisan Public Policy Institute of California. “The focus on immigration and economy is what caught my attention the most.”

According to Edison’s exit polls, the electorate that came out to vote in the Virginia Republican primary on Tuesday broke down as 60% self-identified Republicans and 30% independents, along with 10% Democrats who largely crossed over to vote for Trump’s rival, Nikki Haley.

When those voters were asked about the state of the economy, far more than just Trump’s voters – 78% - said it was “not so good or poor.” At the same time though, 59% said their own family was “holding steady” financially.

That disconnect suggests voters have a more pessimistic reading on the economy beyond their own situation, said Ron Bonjean, a veteran Republican strategist in Washington.

In the meantime democrats are going to have many months to figure out how they will beat the great enemy of the deep state.

Now that Trump has won the nomination he can move to stage two of his campaign -  claiming three or four times a day that the election is being stolen from him.

The SCOTUS just ruled: If democrats want to cheat, they are going to have to do it the old fashioned way.

They can't use the courts.

OR, here me out, in the event that stupidity prevails and he loses, he instigates investigations into fictitious claims for the following 8 years that turn up nothing.  You know, like the Democrats did / doing.

Most of her Instagram followers are likely under 18 and they care more about her than about the election in November.

Taylor Swift is a non-factor in the election but an interesting attempt to avoid the point that Trump and Maga need to shut up about the past and focus on the future of the country.

Not John, but your are welcome. I don't make assumptions on how political Swifties may, or may not be. The highest election turn out in my lifetime was 62% in 2020, so make of that what you will.

Fox News contributor   Karl Rove   warned former President   Donald Trump’s   campaign that it “ought to be concerned about unifying the Republican Party” on Tuesday after Trump defeated   Nikki Haley   in a dozen primaries across the country.

Despite calling Tuesday a “strong night for Donald Trump” and “a very good night for him,” Rove added, “Having said that, the high command of Team Trump ought to be concerned about unifying the Republican Party.”

The former   George W. Bush   White House adviser then held up a whiteboard showing significant support for Haley in Virginia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Maine, and Vermont.

“As we see in these states, a third of the vote in Virginia; 43% of the vote in Massachusetts going to Nikki Haley; a quarter of the vote in North Carolina; Maine is now dropped down to about a quarter of the vote, but it was 31% for Nikki Haley; Vermont 48%,” said Rove, before arguing:

There’s still some work to be done to unify the Republican Party and that’s going to depend a lot on his tone tonight and whether or not he stops doing things like calling her “Bird Brain” and threatening that if you give money to her campaign you’re going to be permanently banned, and we’ll see how he does tonight. He did well in Iowa with his victory statement, unifying, humble, gracious. Not so good in New Hampshire, and tonight is going to be the big night and he’s gonna set an important tone for either a unified Republican Party or a divided Republican Party.

As of reporting, Trump has either won or is projected to win in 12 state   primaries   across the country, while Haley is projected to narrowly defeat Trump in Vermont.

Reporting from outside Haley’s Charleston headquarters on Tuesday evening, NBC News correspondent   Ali Vitali   likened   the “jubilant” atmosphere in Haley’s campaign to “dancing on the deck of the Titanic.”

The American people will not accept someone:

Who cares more about Ukraine's borders than our own. That money Hunter- and the rest of the Brandon family- received from Burisma is paying off big time.

Who is on the take from our enemies. I am sure Russia wants a massive refund from Hunter and clan for the millions they gave. Xi can't stop smiling that his puppet is occupying America's highest seat of power. Brandon turning Russia into China's surrogate is something he could never have imagined.

That can't tell the difference between legal and illegal immigration.

That sues states for trying to do the federal government's job securing the border.

That uses the DOJ/FBI/CIA/IRS to go after his political enemies.

You are correct- it is gonna be ugly and wild as Democrats get more and more desperate in trying to keep power in 2024. They have already proven they don't give a shit about the Constitution or law. How much lower can they sink?
