Man on fire outside of Manhattan courthouse where Donald Trump is on trial rushed to hospital

A man was on fire in an apparent self-immolation outside of the downtown Manhattan courthouse where Donald Trump is sitting trial for 34 counts of falsifying business records, according to officials and witnesses.
The fire department was called shortly after 1:30 p.m. with reports of an individual on fire.
An Upper West Side resident, who asked to be identified by his first name Dave but did not want to provide his full name, told USA TODAY he was walking by when he heard pamphlets thrown by the individual, fall to the ground.
"He had a can, and he poured fluid all over himself, at which point I said, 'oh I think I'm gonna see something bad here,'" Dave said. "And sure enough, he pulled out a lighter, I think a lighter, and set himself on fire."
NYPD said the incident is under investigation but there is no additional security threat at this time.
Footage from the scene posted by a Politico reporter shows a person engulfed in flames near where multiple camera crews were set up. Someone rushed to the scene with a fire extinguisher and others surround him to help.
CNN reporters said they saw the incident live on air.
The Associated Press reported that the person was rushed away on a stretcher by emergency officials.

As I've said elsewhere, the American government needs to spend an awful lot more money on Mental Health care and insane asylums. Maybe a Nurse Rachid Training School is in order.
