Going where most dare not go.
The Trump campaign said he plans to discuss inflation, the migrant crisis, and crime during President Joe Biden’s term in his remarks. State Democratic Assemblywoman Amanda Septimo, alongside civil rights activist and Rev. Kirsten John Foy, invited community members to gather at the opposite end of the park for an event called “Trump isn't welcome in the Bronx.”

Donald Trump plans to hold a "visit" to the south Bronx tomorrow. It is only a visit because he will speak at a small area called Crotona Park, which does not hold a lot of people. It is a gutsy move in two ways. First, no Republican has won the borough in 100 years. The other reason is that the south Bronx speaks for itself. Forty-four years ago Ronald Reagan went there in the 1980 campaign to remind people there that Jimmy Carter did not keep the promises he made to residents of the south Bronx. It made no difference to some of the residents who use their votes as a form of hate.

Here is the nasty crowd that was there to confront Ronald Reagan:

Sometimes just to let the rest of America see what the south Bronx is like and to contrast a group of vile angry people with a candidate who took the time to try and reason with them is enough to sway voters. Reagan won the 1980 election in a landslide.

No other Republican has dared venture into that "area" until now. Trump's task will be much tougher. The radical representatives of the shithole are going to stage a protest when Trump tries to talk to residents:

State Democratic Assemblywoman Amanda Septimo, and "Rev." Kirsten John Foy are off trying to assemble a mob to confront the former President at Crotona Park. The NYPD is nothing like the NYPD of the 1980s. They neither have the support nor the authority to protect Trump. Trump may end up with more than the images that basically helped Reagan. Trump may have more guts than common sense.

The only thing true in this 'article'

'the former 'president' may have more guts than common sense'

that's true - he's got lots and lots and lots of guts as in lard - and no common sense or smarts or wit or charm or decency or decorum or sanity or humanity or anything resembling a decent human being whatsoever

44. James Buchanan, 16.71

45. Donald Trump, 10.92

These rankings are consistent with 4 different sites I visited... Here are links to two of them.

Even if they are off by half, trump still doesn't rank any higher than Jimmy Carter....who was a terrible president...(But a good man).

I'll give credit where it's due, Reagan comes in at a respectable 16 but he is no where close to Obama at #7

Trump is ranked 41'st BY REPUBLICANS .... Stop drinking the kool-aid!

Of course I did and I'll bet I've looked into them more than you have. . I make fun of these stupid surveys every February.  A poll of anonymous  Democrats (13% Republican)  loves Biden, Obama, Clinton and Carter beyond reason and ranks Republican low? Groundbreaking stuff!!

One year they made the mistake of publishing the actual grades each President received in each category.  Respondents obviously  just cut and paste scores across categories because they were lazy and had zero idea of what they were talking about. Presidents like Polk (one of the best ten we've had) received the same score in each "category".  This is good for laughs and that's about it.

That's a stupid fucking move.  That's how we ended up with utter incompetence in the WH now.

What are the odds that this will turn violent?  Given the history of Democrat supporters and violence, I think they are pretty good.

The Trump campaign said he plans to discuss inflation

Trump:  I can fix inflation in 2 days.

the migrant crisis

Trump:  I can fix the migrant crisis in 2 days.

and crime

Trump:  I can fix crime in 2 days.

Discussion over.  That's all he ever says and never has a single clue how to do anything other than lower taxes for the richest 5% and cut anti-pollution regulations.
