Squad Swipe
"Where's your red line, President Biden?" she told a cheering crowd at Huntington Place in what conference organizers described as a surprise appearance on Saturday.

Link to Quote: Tlaib hits Biden, others on Gaza war at Detroit Palestinian conference (detroitnews.com)

Rep. Rashida Tlaib was one of the speakers at The People's Conference for Palestine in Detroit Saturday.  I say "one of" because the keynote speaker was the wife of a formerly imprisoned terrorist. Her name is Sana’ Daqqah, and she is the wife of the late PFLP terrorist Walid Daqqah, who was imprisoned for the abduction, torture, and murder of Israeli soldier Moshe Tamam. (Daqqah died from bone marrow cancer in an Israeli prison on April 8.) The event saw dozens of anti-Israel groups involved in the post-October 7 protests in attendance, as Dearborn Michigan Mayor Abdullah Hammoud gave a video address.

Who do we thank for bringing such people here and giving them political power?

Tlaib was the surprise speaker, and she took aim at president Biden for not stopping Israel from invading the city of Rafah. Wisam Rafeedie was scheduled to speak Sunday. According to Amnesty International, Rafeedie is an activist for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The PFLP is designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the US State Department. This is where our democrat party is these days. Loaded with hate and antisemitism.

BTW: the US House of Representatives voted 422-2-1 to ban Hamas and other perpetrators of the October 7th Massacre from the United States. The dissenters were democrats.

More hate:

Outside the courthouse in lower Manhattan where the sham Trump trial was going on, actor Robert De Niro showed up with two Capitol Police officers. (one of the officers had lied for the Jan 6th Committee) TDS was evident for all to see and many New Yorkers got into a shouting match with De Niro who was rambling on about "Trump trying to destroy the world." De Niro gave the "press conference" on behalf of the Biden campaign. Whatever it was, it quickly devolved into a circus with De Niro reduced to exchanging "Fuck you" with onlookers.

In other news:

N ew York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik sent a letter to New York officials on Tuesday arguing there may have been "misconduct" within the New York Supreme Court system to ensure Judge Juan Merchan presided over the current NY v Trump trial among others.

The prosecution and the defense made their closing arguments in the infamous Trump case. The prosecution was given a mind boggling 5 hours and lot's of lattitude by Judge Merchan. The Jury will begin "deliberating" today.

An early deadline threatened to keep Biden off the ballot in Ohio. To get around it, along with everything else, democrats will nominate him "virtually."

Justice Samuel Alito said his wife flew an upside-down American flag in response to a neighbor’s insult, which is why the Washington Post never tried to push the story narrative. On the other hand, the New York Times went all in, trying to tie it to Jan 6th.

The judge overseeing Trump’s classified documents case denied a gag order on procedural grounds. Unlike the New York farce, the defense needs to be given timely notice.

A floating pier built by the U.S. to get more aid into Gaza broke apart in rough seas. It is now referred to as "Biden's folly."

Boston's racist democrat Mayor says that criminals should not be prosecuted for theft.

Good morning. Today I intend to focus on happy thoughts, such as the sunshine in our lives. Long ago, in 1898 as a matter of fact, a song was written to celebrate the happiness of a sunny day.

As the young man says, the song made Naples famous and vice versa.

It is 68 degrees where I am and sunny.

I have another one for ya:

"The U.S. House of Representatives passed the “Laken Riley Act” by a vote of 251-170.

Named after a 22-year-old Georgia woman murdered by an illegal immigrant, the bill would require detaining and deporting undocumented immigrants charged with theft.

All Republicans and 37 Democrats   voted   for the measure, while 170 Democrats opposed it over concerns about detainee rights."

The funny part is that in only one case the prosecution could have called in a witness to corroborate something he said, yet they didn't. There is about 34 reasons why this case makes no sense and never should have been brought, but that is just one more.

Have you seen the latest Presidential polling for the state of New York?

It is now Biden 47% with Trump at 38%.   That is much different than what we would expect.

It can go any one of three ways.

1) the most likely: A conviction, which will have all of leftwing media forever adding the words "convicted felon" every time they say Donald Trump and which will most likely add to Trump's support.

2) A hung jury: which will have Merchan sending the jury back for more & more deliberation.

3) An acquittal: which would totally stain all the other cases against Trump as political and all but put Trump in the WH.

Scenario 1 would more than likely be overturned upon appeal.

Scenario 2 could mean they would have try it again as well.  The chances of getting it in before the election are getting smaller by the day.

Scenario 3 does stain not only the other cases but any future cases.  There will be a very faint pop sound as we hear the left's heads explode and the temper tantrums begin anew.

Keep in mind that there are two lawyers on that jury. Lawyers know how to sway people.

DeNiro read a statement to the news media.

And that "statement" could have been written by a 7 year old.

Thanks for the laughs, Bob. Keep working, your X needs the money.

I like Bob as an actor.  As far as caring what he has to say about anything else I feel the same way I do about any actors opinion: You are welcome to it but shame on anyone that takes it as an informed opinion.
