Defanging Tony the Tiger
“You belong in prison,” Marjorie Taylor Greene said.

Yesterday the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Anthony Fauci testified before Congress about pandemic-era restrictions & mandates. Somehow, he positioned himself as the key man and leader of the pandemic response team, a role that normally would go to the CDC director. Dr Fauci loved the spotlight, and it was he that made all the recommendations that President Trump followed including the rolling lockdowns which helped to undermine Trump's reelection. Part of what we learned yesterday was that too much trust was invested in a power-hungry bureaucrat with a title, a bunch of degrees and loyal disciples who aided him in abandoning true scientific principles and a possible coverup.

Yesterday House democrats on the panel fell all over themselves trying to defend Dr Fauci. The man who once had the last word on the pandemic blamed others for BS restrictions and the Biden mandates that hurt so many people and school children. Dr Fauci even tried to distance himself from his most senior advisor who wrote that they were avoiding FOIA by using Dr Fauci's personal e-mails and or meeting in person at his home to communicate:

A senior scientific adviser at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) said he used a personal email account to dodge Freedom of Information Act requests and even deleted some emails during the COVID-19 pandemic,  according to federal records obtained by House investigators .

The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic revealed the emails Thursday, saying that Dr. David Morens, a 25-year National Institutes of Health veteran who served under retired NIAID director  Dr. Anthony Fauci , potentially broke the law.

In one alarming exchange, Morens told Bloomberg reporter Jason Gale that the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services prohibited him from “talk[ing] about [COVID] ‘origins’ on the record,” but that he had recently been given latitude to discuss the matter — as long as he didn’t mention his boss.

Tony doesn’t want his fingerprints on origin stories ,” Morens said in the July 29, 2021, email.

Dr Fauci told House members that "Senior Advisor" is just a title. He didn't know what Morens was talking about.

And of course, there is the lingering question of Dr Fauci approving funding for gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab:

At long last, National Institutes of Health (NIH) principal deputy director Lawrence Tabak admitted to Congress Thursday that US taxpayers funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China in the months and years before the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Dr. Tabak,” asked Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-Ariz.) of the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, “did NIH fund gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through [Manhattan-based nonprofit] EcoHealth [Alliance]?”

“It depends on your definition of gain-of-function research,” Tabak answered. “If you’re speaking about the generic term, yes, we did.”

The response comes after more than four years of evasions from federal public health officials — including Tabak himself and   former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director Dr. Anthony Fauci    — about the controversial research practice that modifies viruses to make them more infectious.

Dr Fauci looked very calm & controlled yesterday as he denied everything under oath.

One thing we can be sure of: The deep state's leading official will likely never be prosecuted, but he has finally been defanged.

In other news:

President Biden plans to sign an executive order today that would supposedly seal the border, less than 6 months out from an election. Donald Trump has promised mass deportations of undocumented immigrants. Arizona Republicans are pushing for a ballot measure that would make it a state crime for migrants to enter Arizona from Mexico and allow state judges to deport them.

At a fund-raiser, Biden described Trump as a "convicted felon," the slogan democrats have been salivating to use over & over again.

Trump and the Republicans said they had raised $141 million in May, about half of it immediately following the NY conviction.

The Democratic Senator Bob Menendez, who is on trial on bribery charges, filed to run for re-election as an independent.

Israeli airstrikes in Syria killed an Iranian General who was there as an advisor.

Netanyahu claimed Biden hadn’t given the “whole picture” in describing the peace proposal, which the war cabinet approved but his coalition members did not.

Harvard’s largest faculty division will no longer require job applicants to submit diversity statements.

Opening arguments begin today in Hunter Biden’s federal trial on charges of lying about his drug use on a gun application.

Good morning.

"Free Palestine" protesters went up against the gay pride parade today in Philadelphia, producing a notably confused scene and chants of "no pride in genocide."  Queers For Palestine  were unavailable for comment.

It's always fun to watch the left go at itself.

I like when I can cheer for both sides.

I miss the days of the Iran-Iraq war.

I wonder if the left would still cheer the terrorist supporters if they started slaughtering the LBGTQOCJMPIHP just like the people they support.

Yesterday the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Anthony Fauci testified before Congress about pandemic-era restrictions & mandates.

Every statement Fauci made yesterday was proven wrong.  And it's made even better that they used his own testimony and statements to do it.

President Biden plans to sign an executive order today that would supposedly seal the border, less than 6 months out from an election.

Imagine that!!!  An EO.  And there are some here on NT that tried gaslighting us to believe that wasn't even a possibility.  Either way, it's nothing more than a publicity stunt trying to get people to vote for an utter failure.

Opening arguments begin today in Hunter Biden’s federal trial on charges of lying about his drug use on a gun application.

Notice the crackhead is pleading Not Guilty.  But a few short months ago he plead Guilty under daddy's protection.

Last night I heard someone say that there is an old saying in Wilmington Delaware:

"If you haven't met or don't know Joe Biden or a member of his family, you really aren't from here."

I also heard that Jill Biden was making eye contact with the selected jurors as they were led into the courtroom.

Eye contact may be enough.

This is an open & shut case everywhere but possibly in Wilmington Delaware.

Emagine the outrage if Hunter is acquitted or there is a hung jury?

Eye contact may be enough.

Given what we've seen the Biden administration do, you may be right.

This is an open & shut case everywhere but possibly in Wilmington Delaware.

That won't stop some from making their idiotic comments.

Emagine the outrage if Hunter is acquitted or there is a hung jury?

The only outrage I'm expecting is the guilty verdict.  The left will begin their crying again.  Hell they're whining about this now and the trial is just beginning.

The odd part is that Hunter is pleading innocent. He would get a lot less by pleading guilty.

He has the best lawyer in the business. I wonder why?

The first time around Hunter did plead guilty.  But that was when daddy was protecting him with some bullshit deal.  Now that deal is gone...

Today's appropriate quote:

No doubt invisibility made it possible to get them, but it made it impossible to enjoy them when they are got."

To be blunt, that hearing yesterday was a gigantic embarrassment to the GOP congress.

It sort of goes without saying that the dumb and dumber of the GOP , Jordan and Comer, were involved.  The similarity between this nonsense with Fauci and the totally failed Biden impeachment fiasco leaps off the page.

The complete idiot Marjorie Taylor Greene refused to refer to him as Dr. Fauci, bizarrely claiming he is not a doctor. The Democrats rightly told her to shut the fuck up.
