NY v. Trump: Judge reveals Facebook post implying juror discussed guilty verdict with family ahead of time
"'Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System's public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention. In the comment, the user, ‘Michael Anderson,’ states:

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

T
he judge presiding over former President Trump’s New York criminal trial notified his defense team on Friday of a comment on the court's public Facebook page that implies one of the jurors discussed the guilty verdict ahead of time.

Fox News obtained the letter  Judge Juan Merchan  shared with Trump defense attorneys and Manhattan prosecutors.

"'Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System's public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention. In the comment, the user, ‘Michael Anderson,’ states:

’My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted! Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!’"

The comment was posted on May 29 "regarding oral arguments in the Fourth Department of the Appellate Division unrelated to this proceeding."

The profile for "Michael Anderson" has little publicly available information, but the user identifies himself as a "Transabled & professional sh-- poster."

A Trump campaign official told Fox News Digital they are "investigating the matter."

Al Baker, state OCA spokesperson, said Friday that "as appropriate, the Court informed the parties once it learned of this online content."

The post came a day before Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. Trump had pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The six-week-long trial stemmed from charges brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

A flat-out acknowledgement that the outcome
of this fraudulent prosecution had been determined in advance and yet another cause for appeal.

This is the reason the jury should have been sequestered; but Merchon being the TDS partisan might mental midget he is couldn't think past getting Trump convicted.

Even if the post is a hoax- there is no guarantee the jurors didn't talk to friends, family, and other outside sources about the case. Nor that they refrained from watching the media and political talking heads hash the case out on a daily basis.

Getting a guilty verdict was all Merchon cared about.

Mission accomplished asshole!

There will never be a trial of Trump where he will be innocent on the facts. Its all about getting him off on technicalities.

You won’t accept a years-long investigative process, grand jury indictments, business records subject to analysis, sworn testimony subject to cross examination, or the deliberations of a jury of random people who didn’t ask to be in court, and found the defendant guilty in spite of the vigorous efforts of well-paid defense counsel.

But you WILL put stock in the vague comment of some rando on Facebook.

I don't believe either one. This was a sham political prosecution election interference trial from the very beginning and every knows it or should.

How do you determine when court cases are a sham? Trump doesn’t have a strong record in the courts.

In addition to his 34 felony convictions, he has been found liable recently for sexual assault and defamation.

In 2018, he was found liable in the Trump University case of cheating thousands of people out of millions of dollars.

After the 2020 election, he went to court over 60 times, trying to get the result reversed and lost every time, as far as I know.

Are they all shams?
