Without reason or logic.

Without reason or logic.
Judge Cain said the states were likely to succeed in showing the pause contravened the Natural Gas Act and was arbitrary, capricious, and unconstitutional

For those who missed it, earlier in the week a federal judge dealt president Joe Biden's fantasy climate agenda a setback by blocking the Biden administration from delaying the approval of applications to export liquefied natural gas. Sixteen Republican-led states had sued the Biden administration over Biden's freeze on approvals of LNG exports. U.S. District Judge James Cain in Louisiana, ruled that the U.S. Department of Energy's pause on the approval of those applications was "completely without reason or logic."

I thought his assessment was applicable to Biden's entire energy policy. The policy that tries to force Americans to buy impractical and expensive electric cars and has a moratorium on the energy development of federal lands. He has also abused the strategic oil reserve to win elections leaving the reserve dangerously low. There are responsible was to transition to more climate friendly solutions. Causing needless hardship, deterring energy investment, killing jobs, reducing state revenues, and shifting oil and gas production to other countries is not the way.

Judge Cain also noted that the Energy Department's actions were "above and beyond its scope of authority." He said he had "reviewed the voluminous studies attached as exhibits, all of which boast of both the economic and environmental benefits of exporting natural gas."

It was another bad day in a string of bad days for Joe Biden.

In other news:

Israel issued an evacuation order for a large area of southeastern Gaza.

The Biden administration awarded millions of dollars in grants to help industries like biomanufacturing, clean energy and artificial intelligence.

Months after the end of a pandemic pause in student loans, about half of borrowers have still not resumed their payments.

The judge who oversaw Trump’s Manhattan criminal conviction delayed the sentencing until September so that he can weigh whether the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling threatens Trump’s conviction.

Donald Trump raised $331 million in the second quarter a fundraising haul that leaves him with more cash on hand than president Joe Biden.

Joe Biden will do an interview with leftwing hack & Pitbull George Stephanopoulos for first post-debate interview, edited portions to air on Friday. That should reassure the voters!

House Republicans now reportedly have enough votes to charge Attorney General Merrick Garland with inherent Contempt of Congress, which would direct the Sergeant at Arms to take him into custody. Of course, that is not expected to happen. They do have him in Court over his refusal to turn over an audio tape.

Rep. Jim Jordan is calling on the House to open an investigation into the original January 6th Committee and issue subpoenas to Liz Cheney, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Kinzinger and Adam Schiff.

Good morning

Question of the day: Did Joe Biden mislead Americans on one of the most important SCOTUS decisions in history?

Yesterday I actually heard someone say that the importance of the decision was all about the effect it had on the bogus Trump cases!

"...abused the strategic oil reserve to win elections..."

In the long run, immunity from immorality will be a strong benefit for the left.

Yesterday Joe told the people that: “Any president, including Donald Trump, will now be freed to ignore the law."

Who has ignored more laws than Joe Biden?

That was during the 4 minutes when he read from a teleprompter, answered zero questions and left.

I suppose the best way to mislead people would be to contend that this case originated from a request late in 2023 by Jack Smith for the Court to leap frog over the lower courts in considering Trump's immunity claim in order to get Trump to trial before the election.

First of all, that is not how the system works. The lower courts have to do their job, which they did not adequately do. As noted by the Chief Justice: Chutkan and the DC Circuit were fast but ultimately wrong. Indeed, the Supreme Court noted that the judge created little record for the basis of her decisions. That is why the SCOTUS had to take on this question. Now Chutkan can go through the process again.

That was misrepresentation # 1.

Misrepresentation # 2 was that there is no remedy for limited Presidential immunity.

The remedy in not politically motivated sham trial. The Constitution provides for the House to impeach and the Senate to convict a President.

Israel issued an evacuation order for a large area of southeastern Gaza.

Evacuate to where? Where in the bombed out husk that is Gaza are civilians supposed to go that will have the resources they need to survive? Hamas and offshoots will just leave with the civilians. Israel has already proven it will bomb supposedly safe areas- just not as hard as areas they tell civilians to leave. So the Israel/Hamas two step will continue- wonder what new lies each side will tell the world so their dance can continue in peace?

The Biden administration awarded millions of dollars in grants to help industries like biomanufacturing, clean energy and artificial intelligence.

Democrat donors are rejoicing! Their payback checks are in the mal!

Months after the end of a pandemic pause in student loans, about half of borrowers have still not resumed their payments.

They are waiting for Biden to get around to forgiving their student loans. It is only a matter of time.

The judge who oversaw Trump’s Manhattan criminal conviction delayed the sentencing until September so that he can weigh whether the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling threatens Trump’s conviction.

That is hilarious. The kangaroo court trial he ran threatens Trump's conviction far more. Maybe the judge is getting nervous about being held accountable and is looking for an out? Nah, he is just delaying the decision until closer to the election to get the most bang for his buck- and potentially help Biden. Sentencing Trump when it is too late to replace him on the ballot, yanking him off the campaign trail, and removing his media access might either give Biden the presidency- or cause a landslide vote against Democrats up and down the ticket. He is just waiting for his marching orders from the Biden Administration.  Just how desperate will Democrats get?

Donald Trump raised $331 million in the second quarter a fundraising haul that leaves him with more cash on hand than president Joe Biden.

Democrats are their own worst enemy. The more they go after Trump the more money he receives. Seems donors are afraid of the Democrat two tier justice system; and weaponization of government agencies.

Joe Biden will do an interview with leftwing hack & Pitbull George Stephanopoulos for first post-debate interview, edited portions to air on Friday. That should reassure the voters!

The only question on the leftists media's mind is will Joe still be orange? Will he be a darker shade? Will he go full on "Evil Brandon"? Most of the leftist media has already forgotten his wretched debate performance. The interview will be nothing more than a non stop attack on Trump.

House Republicans now reportedly have enough votes to charge Attorney General Merrick Garland with inherent Contempt of Congress, which would direct the Sergeant at Arms to take him into custody. Of course, that is not expected to happen. They do have him in Court over his refusal to turn over an audio tape.

I am sure Garland is terrified./S

All he needs to do is stonewall until after the election; and pray for a Democrat sweep.

Hopefully Biden loses and Republicans maintain control of at least the House. Then Garland can find out what it feels like to fight against the DOJ in court. Hope he has deep pockets. Maybe he can get the same cell as Steve Bannon.

Rep. Jim Jordan is calling on the House to open an investigation into the original January 6th Committee and issue subpoenas to Liz Cheney, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Kinzinger and Adam Schiff.

I hope all 4 fight the subpoenas and are held in contempt. Garland needs company in court. Nancy and Liz can share a cell.

It didn't take long:

Aprominent Democrat law firm, founded by an architect of the Trump-Russia hoax, is suing to let foreign billionaires meddle in Ohio elections.

Ohio Republican Gov. Mike DeWine  signed  House Bill 1 on June 2, banning foreign nationals from  spending  money on state ballot measures. Elias Law Group, founded by Russia hoaxer Marc Elias, challenged the bill in court on June 27, according to  The Associated Press

Biden wanted LNG for the war effort in Europe.  Remember?  The gas producers probably haven't recouped their investment yet.  So, Biden needs to either go all-in for free trade - or - bail out the gas producers.  Saving democracy just ain't enough to mollify the bean counters.

Alvin Braggs convictions are looking more shaky as time goes on.  If the convictions are overturned on appeal then the New York court will likely face charges of engaging in politics to influence the election.  And, in case no one noticed, Alvin Bragg says that's a crime.  Hoist by their own petard?

While Americans are distracted by sharks circling blood in the media water, the political environment in Europe is being transformed.  When Americans finally take notice after the election, they'll find that Biden's era has already ended.  Biden winning on Nov. 5th really does mean he becomes a lame-duck on Nov. 6th.  Biden really has shaped a new world order but the United States isn't at the center of the world stage any longer.
