Looking at the oldies this weekend. Mitzi is my favorite singer/dancer/actress from that era. According to her bio, she was 43 when this TV special was recorded in 1974
Another Stick Figure masterpiece. Half of this song samples Bradley Nowell from Sublime. Bradley died in 1996. These are two of my all time favorite musicians.
The day of my having and listening to albums is long gone, and I haven't listened to radio for 18 years (I did listen in the car, but here no more car). However, once in a while I open bilibili on the computer and listen to Andrea Bocelli, The Band, or Neil Young. I spend a big part of the time when I'm not on the computer watching movies, sometimes as many as 3 a day, so whatever music is played on the soundtrack is the music I listen to.
(Spector, famous 1960's record producer, made this demo of a song he co-wrote with Carole King and Gerry Goffin , which became a hit for the Righteous Brothers. He cant sing, but he gave it his all to sell the song to the label)
