A crew for "Jimmy Kimmel Live" descended on a recent Trump rally and discovered a stunning lack of awareness on issues that Republicans harp on.
The talk show does not mention in the video how many people they had to interview to find these uninformed souls ― but their answers alone could erode collective trust in the American voter.
One would think that for the fervent MAGA base, hot-button topics like critical race theory and DEI would be a slam dunk ― but not in this segment that the show reposted on Thursday.

I don’t think that at all. Their baffling combination of hubris and admitted lack of understanding is uniquely Trumpian. The hubris leads them to believe they can handle an interview, which they quickly learn that they can’t, but they still confidently march through responses that only their kind would accept as sensible.

It does not surprise me at all that many do not know what DEI stands for or understand what the Deep State refers to. By the same token, they could ask these people how the PRA allows Trump to take classified documents after his term was over and they would not have a clue but would believe it does because Trump repeatedly told them it did.

Here's the thing. There are 80 million or so voters for both Trump and Harris. Do you not understand that millions of actual idiots vote for each? Do you think it would be difficult to put together the exact same type of video of mocking Harris voters? All these videos are designed to do is appeal to your prejudices and make you feel smart for opposing the other side. As I said, it's incredibly heavy handed but they obviously work on some people.

These people flock together to celebrate their ineptitude. Do you think you could go to a Harris rally and accomplish this? I highly doubt it. I’m not saying uninformed democrats don’t exist, but they sure as hell don’t gather in mass and volunteer their uninformed explanations like Trump supporters do. I’d bet everybody here knows at least one Trump supporter who couldn’t answer these questions better than the interviewees.
