Meh, it's an Aussie thing.

Brisbane, Australia – The creators of Bluey have unveiled a massive spoiler for the next season: Bluey’s mum Chili will make a mistake for the first time in the show’s history.
The number one most-watched show in North America features a family of Australian huskies and generally features Bandit the dad and his interactions in play make-believe with Bluey and her sister Bingo. Often, Chili is only at the end of the episode when she gets back from work, returns from a run, wakes up for her nap, or finishes a bottle of mommy juice in the tub. By the time she appears in an episode, Bandit has already made a mistake and they are wrapping up to find the moral of the story.
Head writer, Joe Brumm, and his co-creator/wife Suzy are excited that years of brainstorming have finally led to an episode where a mum makes a mistake when playing make-believe with her children. “While some might point to Dunny, Bad Mood, or Sticky Gecko episodes, Chili didn’t really mess up in those episodes,” explained Brumm. “We hadn’t done it yet since mums are buzzkills who ruin the fun so what would the lesson be after the chaos ensued if she made a mistake? After years of brainstorming, we finally figured it out!”
The 8-minute episode follows Chili as she discovers she has cancer and then forces Muffins to help her create fentanyl-laced narcotics. Chili quickly rises to power as a ruthless drug lord. At the peak of her power, she realizes the cancer diagnosis was just part of a make-believe game Bluey and Bingo were playing. In the end, although she made a mistake and didn’t need to descend into a world of darkness, she decides she likes it and stays a drug lord.
Bluey superfan and 38-year-old dad, Marcus Stalks, can’t wait for Chili to be taken down a notch. “I’m getting tired of Bandit making the mistakes and not getting the good quotes like, ‘I’ll always be here for you even if you can’t see me.’” Stalks revealed. “I’d be there for my kids too if they can’t see me. Why does mayhem and confusion never happen when she’s alone playing with the kids? This will go down as the best episode of Bluey ever.”
Bluey fan boards populated entirely by adults are debating whether this lesson in gentle parenting will help elevate some of the pressure to be a perfect parent or if it’s more of a commentary on how dark and soul-sucking parenthood can be.
shona1 has some 'splain' to do.
