And how is our government responding to this?

The National Science Foundation went beyond the staff cuts demanded by the Trump administration in a move that set off a frenzied backlash at the science funding agency.

NSF fired about 10 percent of its staff at the end of Tuesday, removing 168 people who included most of the agency’s probationary employees and all of its experts, a class of contract workers who are specialists in niche scientific fields.

As you probably know I cannot open the YouTube you posted as an article so I did a fairly comprehensive search about the film and the topic generally and I couldn't find anywhere that China was specified to be the villain in the film or intending to use slaughterbots to start a world war 3.  Is there a reason why you specified China in the title pf your seed?

That’s the title of the YouTube video.  Sorry you can’t view it but there’s a lot of content in it that is not related to military usage of robots.  Not sure why they went with that title, but the prospect of armed machine learning robots should frighten anyone.

Thank you.  Beware of the Yellow Peril - a little paranoia can sometimes be a good thing.
