Nota for TPTB: This is a "tech review", not an advertisement . (You deleted an earlier computer tech review , without consultation, on the grounds that it was advertising.) There are tons of tech reviews on YouTube, concerning cars, cameras, phones, computers... and that's just the topics I subscribe to. These videos allow folks to keep up to date on tech that is evolving fast.

'Course... America probably won't get this van. The Trusk Administration is gleefully throwing the country back twenty years, while China surges ahead.

The future will be electric. How stupid must a man be to willfully handicap his country like this?

It’s not just about Trump, though. Car manufacturers have always built cars that they sold in certain regions of the world - like Europe - but not in America. We tend to like big, inefficient vehicles.

True. The Hummer EV could only happen in America! That said, American manufacturers have a record of stupidly sticking to cars that no one asked for - the "Japanese invasion" forty years ago, for example.

"The future will be electric."

Far, far, very far into the future, the percentage of EV cars will peak, but not until fossil fuels are no longer available. Some light trucks and vans will be electric, but heavy trucks, heavy equipment, farm equipment, locomotives, airplanes, and ships will still be running on fossil fuels.

They said the same thing when gas powered engines were produced....horses are still around. Seriously.... Here is a tesla VS. a Hellcat... 9.8 in the quarter....for a battery powered car? You are living in the past Greg.

"You are living in the past Greg."
No, I'm living in reality.
The reasons that EVs will never become dominant has been laid out here and elsewhere numerous times, but the climate cultists don't believe them.

MAGA lives in the past. Fossil fuel. No AGW. Imperial America. White supremacy.

Or nuclear power.

(Scientists are looking at more, smaller nuclear reactors. And of course improvements in battery technology).

Little baby nuclear reactors in every car, I can see it now!  And lighter than air batteries for airplanes, what a concept!

I’m intrigued, especially by the price. But the VW is awfully cute.

I don't think the target audiences are quite the same. The VW is for people. The Kia is for cargo. They can cross-dress, though.

I would lower it and put it on some 50 series 22's.

Nobody, including any car manufacturer , is going to make a better Buzz than I already am.  jrSmiley_22_smiley_image.gif
