Another ridiculous ruling

Another ridiculous ruling
“The early termination, without any case-by-case justification, of legal status for noncitizens who have complied with DHS programs and entered the country lawfully undermines the rule of law,” Talwani wrote in a 41-page ruling. “The court finds the balance of equities and public interest weigh in favor of preliminary relief.”

Another Obama appointee, who has gone way beyond her authority issued, a ruling that is sure to be overturned, which prevents the Trump administration from
yanking legal status from more than 530,000 Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan nationals who were brought into the US under a controversial Biden administration program. Boston US District Judge Indira Talwani ruled that the migrants are entitled to a case-by-case review and declined to put her decision on hold while the Trump administration appeals it.

This is a bit different than those who sought refuge on their own, but even if we apply the due process protections to all of the migrants the Biden administration allowed in over 4 years the problem becomes obvious. Let's think about it: Suppose all of the 12-15 million migrants demand a trial before being deported. The system would easily be overwhelmed. It wouldn't be possible.

Thus, that is why, it is kind of obvious that the people around Biden considered how hard it would be to remove them when they opened the flood gates. Therefore, the SCOTUS should overrule every one of these rulings & injunctions. They lack jurisdiction and national security should overrule process in this case.

I asked:

If an immigration judge ruled that he had legal standing to remain in the United States, is he "undocumented"?

ChatGPT said:

If an immigration judge has ruled that someone has legal standing to remain in the United States—whether through asylum, legal permanent residency proceedings, cancellation of removal, or another form of relief—then they are not considered “undocumented.”

Here’s the breakdown:

  • “Undocumented immigrant” refers to someone who is currently residing in the U.S. without any official legal status—no visa, green card, DACA, or court-issued permission.

  • If a judge grants relief or authorizes their continued presence, the individual then has some form of recognized legal status, even if it is temporary or pending final resolution.

  • This legal standing removes them from the “undocumented” category, even if they originally entered without authorization or overstayed a visa.

So in short: No—if a judge ruled he can stay under U.S. law, then he is not “undocumented,” at least not as of the time of that ruling

Boston US District Judge Indira Talwani ruled that the migrants are entitled to a case-by-case review

2 courses of action:

  1. Given Talwani has no jurisdiction, move forward with the deportations
  2. Move all the illegals, in ICE custody, to Boston for HER to rule on.  Then deport them.

Outside of talking to people in the  "MSNBC is too damn conservative" bubble do you notice funny looks when you start the "Biden is just fine" spiel?

Are there enough books, articles, podcasts etc out there from Democratic media, staff and donors detailing just how poor Biden's mental state was for you to reconsider your cheerleading? I know the objective reports from the special counsel and the massive amounts of public available videos aren't given consideration (all  fakes!) but when the very people whose opinions you share and worked with Biden tell you they fooled you, does it cause any self reflection?

The responsibility to provide evidence rests with the person making a claim, not the person denying or questioning it.

You made the claim that Democrats top 4 heroes are a bunch of dipshits, now back it up. Provide some evidence that your claim is even remotely true. I questioned your claim because I know it's total bullshit rhetoric, why should I have to "prove" those aren't Democrats heroes. Should all Republicans have to prove they don't secretly hero worship Hitler?

I do get that you're taking a bunch of random tweets from some schmucks on social media and painting all Democrats with them because some rando said Luigi was hot and it's easier to just smear your opponent with lies than to debate them on substance. /golf clap for your brave attempt at being funny.

Oh, and if you think linking a bunch of articles where the "left" is defending due process and claiming that proves this guy shipped off to El Salvador is some sort of hero, don't bother. You know as well as I do that Democrats don't even really know this guy, they're simply angered at the knowledge that the system they trusted is now being run by the most incompetent dipshits on the planet which led to this "error" of no due process which any rational person would understand threatens us all.

Immigrants living in the U.S. legally can collect Social Security benefits, provided they meet specific criteria surrounding work credits and the thresholds for collecting SSI, the SSA has explained.

While immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally can collect SSI benefits in some circumstances—including if they are granted asylum—they are prohibited from receiving most other federal benefits.

More solutions searching for problems from this administration.  Meanwhile, social security continues to be funded by hard working immigrants who will never be allowed to access them.

The plane appeared to be on fire. I assume Musk could afford a parachute.

"Entered the country lawfully".... Why are we attacking and deporting people who actually followed the law?

Detaining legal immigrants who work, are in school, learned the English language, have an attorney dealing with legal immigration and still we see ICE going after people even at their citizenship appointment.

Just Republicans lying non stop about immigrants. Falsely saying they support immigration if immigrants do it the " right way" and then failing to speak up for immigrants who actually do things the right way.
