Illegal immigrant convicted in mom of 5 Rachel Morin’s rape, murder after jury deliberates for less than an hour

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Victor Martinez-Hernandez, 24, was convicted of first-degree murder, first-degree rape, first-degree sexual offense and kidnapping after Morin, 37, was killed along a trail about 30 miles northeast of Baltimore in August 2023.

The guilty verdicts came after less than an hour of deliberations,  WBFF reported .

Martinez-Hernandez could spend the rest of his life in prison, according to the station.

Harford County State Attorney Alison Healey said she would seek the maximum sentence for him during a press conference after the verdicts.

“This case shook our Harford County community and robbed a family of their daughter, sister, mother and friend,” she said during the briefing  streamed by WBAL.

Healey wasn’t surprised at how rapidly Monday’s guilty verdicts were returned, noting DNA recovered from Morin’s body matched up with Martinez-Hernandez.

“The quickness of the verdict speaks to the strength of the evidence in the case,” she added.

“This was an airtight case.”

Healey said Morin “fought for her life” during the violent struggle.

“She was viciously beaten, raped and ultimately murdered at the hands of the defendant,” the prosecutor added.

Morin’s case gained national headlines   at the time of her gruesome slaying   because it was yet another example of an illegal migrant carrying out a shocking crime as the Biden administration refused to address the chaos at the border,   which led to record illegal crossings under the former president .

“They put every American citizen in harm’s way, every American citizen, and especially the most vulnerable, which are women and children,” Patricia Morin, the victim’s mother, previously told The Post.

Martinez-Hernandez was captured in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in June 2024 following a nationwide manhunt, and his trial began earlier this month.

Morin was on the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air when she was dragged into the woods and attacked. Her badly beaten body was later found in a culvert, and her car was still in the parking lot.

The now-convicted killer had been living illegally in the US since February 2023, police said.

He had also been accused of a violent home invasion in Los Angeles — and   allegedly committed several heinous crimes   in the months before the young mom’s vicious slaying.

Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said “this monster” deserved the death penalty, but state lawmakers have outlawed executions.

“It shouldn’t be political, but the failure here again is the immigration system that allowed this person to enter our country illegally and remain in our country and commit crimes in Los Angeles and here in Harford County,” he said.

The empathy deficit among many democrats seems to be getting worse.  Jumping from assassin, to terrorist supporter to murderer to a salvadoran immigrant identified as a member of one of the worst gangs in the world to valorize and demonstrate on behalf of.  The Senator from Maryland is now in El Salvador trying to free a Salvadoran gang associate (to put the best spin on it) from a foreign prison.

Ms. Morin was his actual constituent, whatever the Senator says.  Did he reach out to the family to even offer condolences?  Did he do anything to prevent other Americans from being murdered?   Of course not.  But he'll across the planet to help a foreigner with gang ties.  As the mother of the victim said today:

To have a senator from Maryland who didn't even acknowledge, or barely acknowledge, my daughter and the brutal death that she endured, leaving her five children without a mother…so that he can use my taxpayer money to fly to El Salvador to bring back someone that's not even an American citizen?" Morin told reporters Wednesday at the White House. "Why does that person have more right than I do, or my daughter or my grandchildren? I don't, I don't understand this."

With bot-like precision, along come an illegal alien boogie man seed.  Remind us - what laws did Garcia break?  Does the punishment fit his “crimes”?  Did Garcia murder people?  He has been dealt a virtual death sentence for the crime of existing in the US, and you want the crime seeded here to somehow help justify his guilt?

The other document -- a DHS I-213 form -- cited the Prince George's County Police Department field interview sheet to claim that Abrego Garcia was "identified" and "validated" as a member of MS-13. Abrego Garcia denied having any information about the gang or human smuggling, according to the DHS report.

Undocumented Immigrant (Illegal Alien) — Is any person who is subject to immediate deportation because their presence in the United States is in violation of our law.  (Title 8 – Aliens and Nationality
Chapter 12 – Immigration and Nationality, Subchapter II – Immigration, Part IV – Inspection, Apprehension, Examination, Exclusion, and Removal, Sec. 1227 – Deportable aliens
Legal vs. Illegal Immigrants – When does a criminal conviction mean likely deportation and when the outcome of a criminal case doesn’t matter - Gambone Law

Well at least they're not suffering with the masses in that trip.

Sen.   Bernie Sanders , I-Vt., and Rep.   Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez , D-N.Y., chartered a private jet worth up to a staggering $15,000 an hour for several West Coast stops on their "Fighting Oligarchy" tour.

Sanders boarded the luxury Bombardier Challenger private jet at the Meadows Field Airport in Bakersfield, California, on Tuesday afternoon, according to a photo captured by a source on the ground and shared exclusively with Fox News Digital. Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez, whom the source also spotted boarding the private jet, spoke at their "Fighting Oligarchy" event in Bakersfield just hours earlier.

Flight records reveal   the jet landed at Sacramento Mather Airport on Tuesday evening, which is about a 20-minute drive to Folsom, California, where the self-identified Democratic socialists hosted their second rally of the day.

The jet Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez were seen boarding made stops in Salt Lake City and Boise prior to landing in Bakersfield, according to flight records. The arrival dates match the duo's "Fighting Oligarchy" events in Salt Lake City and Nampa, which is about a 25-minute drive from Boise Airport.

The Bombardier Challenger private jet is  operated by Ventura Air Services , which touts "one of the widest cabins of any business jet available today" and provides "superior cabin comfort for its passengers." According to their website, the private jet can cost up to $15,000 an hour.

So I suppose that they all are guilty, don't bother trying them, just send them all away?

Consistency.

I asked:

How many americans are murdered by Americans each day?
ChatGPT said:
On average, approximately 44.7 people are murdered each day in the United States , based on recent data. The Hive Law

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there were 24,849 homicides in the U.S. in 2022 , which averages to about 68 homicides per day . CDC

The vast majority of these homicides are committed by U.S. citizens. While exact percentages can vary year to year, data from the FBI and other sources consistently show that most murders involve both victims and perpetrators who are American citizens.
I asked:
How many Americans are murdered by non-citizens each day?
ChatGPT said:
Determining the exact number of Americans murdered by non-citizens each day is challenging due to limitations in national crime data. Most U.S. crime databases, including those maintained by the FBI, do not consistently record the citizenship or immigration status of offenders. U.S. Customs and Border Protection

However, data from Texas—which uniquely tracks offenders' immigration status—provides some insight. A 2020 study found that undocumented immigrants in Texas had a homicide conviction rate of 2.2 per 100,000 people, compared to 3.0 per 100,000 for native-born Americans. This suggests that undocumented immigrants are less likely to be convicted of homicide than native-born citizens. The New Yorker Reuters

Additionally, as of July 2024, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported that there were 13,099 non-detained non-citizens with homicide convictions on their records. It's important to note that these convictions may span many years and do not necessarily reflect recent or annual homicide rates. Just The News

In summary, while specific daily figures are not available, existing data indicates that non-citizens, including undocumented immigrants, are less likely to commit homicide than native-born Americans.

So, it does not matter how heartwrenching the story, (or how AI looking the Photos) people who are not documented kill less than the normal American.

I guess the real question should be, "Why are we not doing more to make murder less of  a problem with Americans?"

Paying to have people killed (while Trump might consider this as a cost saving opportunity) would lower the morals of the federal government (the executive branch) to a level equal to a third world dictatorship on one side and Russia/China/North Korea on the other side.

I saw this on twitter:

When I say “I hate libs” I mean they’re dumb but I’d save them from a flood When libs say “be kind” they mean they would literally annihilate my extended family

Sometimes some of them seem to go out of their way to create that impression.

Yeah, many seem to hold that hate permanently in their hearts.     It’s pretty sad they chose to live like that but unfortunately many do.
