The Champions of the democrat party
LORENZ: So you're going to see women especially that feel like, oh, my God, right? Like here's this man who -- who's a revolutionary, who's famous, who's handsome, who's young, who's smart, he's a person that seems this like this morally good man which is hard to find.

Last night Fox News analyst & anchor Sean Hannity aired an interview he had with the f ormer "Washington Post" columnist, technology reporter for "The New York Times", "Daily Beast", and "Business Insider", Taylor Lorenz. It involved the statement she made concerning a man on trial for the murder of a United Health Care CEO. Lorenz attributed the comments to Mangione supporters, but it was clear that she supported them even though she half-heartily tried to deny it. She often compared the insurance industry to assassins. Hannity never could get her to condemn the man who murdered the Insurance executive. And we wonder why there is so much violence coming from the left. Here is the interview:

Luigi Mangione

Luigi Mangione was a spoiled brat, wealthy aristocrat from a wealthy family who never had to work. He decides one day to go out and gun down a self-made guy from the Midwest, who rose to become CEO of United Health Care Insurance. Suddenly Mangione is some kind of folk hero.

Gl7zVxYXoAA8RN_?format=jpg&name=360x360
Mahmoud Khalil

Mahmoud Khalil is a known Hamas supporter, who had his student visa revoked for the activities he helped promote at Columbia University. A federal judge stepped in to temporarily block his deportation. Another folk hero for the left.

GoswN3CaYAAM4O4?format=jpg&name=large
Karmelo Anthony

Karmelo Anthony was the kid who went to a football game packing a knife and sat in the opposing team section causing a commotion. When another boy asked him to leave Karmelo stabbed him in the heart. Later Karmelo supporters raised about half a million dollars for him (thus far) on " go fund me. " Karmelo lived in a very affluent neighborhood. One wonders if the situation were reversed would the other kid, being white have raised money on " go fund me ?"

Kilmar Abrego Garcia

Kilmar Abrego Garcia had been ordered deported long ago by both a District Court Judge and an Appellate Court Judge, both of whom found evidence that he was an M-13 gang member. Recently Senator Chris Van Hollen went to El Salvador to secure his release. The President of El Salvador told Van Hollen that Garcia was an El Salvadoran citizen and was subject to the laws of El Salvador and in prison he would remain.

We have all heard the arguments made for these individuals. Only yesterday I heard one repeat the nonsense about "what law did he break? "  The people who support them are as bad as they are.

In the news:

Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the US will abandon its effort to end the Ukraine war unless there is meaningful progress in the next several days. “If it is not possible to end the war in Ukraine, we need to move on,” Rubio said as he departed meetings in Paris.

A 20-year-old student killed two people and wounded six others in a shooting at the Florida State University campus in Tallahassee.

The Supreme Court announced that it would hear arguments in a few weeks over the issue of birth-right citizenship and if it was intended for migrants.

The Trump administration has threatened to block Harvard University from enrolling international students unless the school hands over records of student's behavior.

An administration official asked the I.R.S. to look into whether Mike Lindell, pillow entrepreneur and Trump ally, had been wrongfully targeted for an audit. Lindell had supported Fox News during efforts to pressure its sponsors.

The Trump administration said it would take over the renovation of NYC's Penn Station which had come to resemble a filthy outhouse.

A federal judge ruled that Google acted illegally to maintain a monopoly.

The European Central Bank cut interest rates as it grapples with heightened economic uncertainty over tariffs with the US.

The U.S. is withdrawing hundreds of troops from Syria.

The Texas House of Representatives approved a plan to create a $1 billion taxpayer-funded private school voucher fund.

A federal grand jury indicted Luigi Mangione, who is accused in the killing of a health care executive in Manhattan.

President Trump has fired the MTA from their long-awaited renovation of Penn Station.

When you want it safe and clean it might be better for the President to do it himself.

That was money well spent by his donors.  They bought a $800,000+ house and a new car. Their defense is they are the victims, reminds me of BLM.

Isn't it odd that the the left won't acknowledge that Garcia received the "due process" they are crying about?

Recently Senator Chris Van Hollen went to El Salvador to secure his release.

And from what I have seen, he did this at the expense of taxpayers.  What was this clown's intent?  Did he actually think that he had any kind of power in a foreign country?  It's pretty pathetic (although expected) that a Democrat would fight harder for an illegal than a US Citizen.  The left needs to wake up.

No, it's odd that certain people won't acknowledge that the 2019 case was overturned because CIS was unreliable.  The deportment order was over turned and a green card issued.

That evidence and paperwork from 2019 is now being brandished by an embarrassed White House is immaterial to the physical deportation in 2025.

His 2019 deportation order was not overturned. He does not have a green card. He remains subject to deportation.  As of 2019 (because he asserts a fear of rival gangs) he could not be deported to El Salvador.  He can legally be deported anywhere in the world but El Salvador without any further act of any US Court.

Slight issue there...?

Despite the whole round them up put them on a plane, in record time, with no due process, then ignore orders to cease and desist, then further ignore the same court and send more people to El Salvador.

She was interviewed by an anchor the other day. He asked her "Were you in fear of your life". She paused for an extended time, then sad..."My husband is alive. That is all that is important".

Of course she was in fear of her life, otherwise, if she said no, then the police could charge her with filing a false police report.

Deporting him in less than 24 hours without an additional hearing is an affront to the authority of that 2019 court.

It's exceptionally easy.  You just have to claim fear of harm  and show it's more likely than not reasonably grounded. He claimed to fear a rival gang if he returned to El Salvador, hence he won the withholding of removal to El Salvador, and El Salvador only.  He did not "win" because he wasn't an MS-13 member.

ter with no additional due process, in violation of a standing order to NOT  deport him

No additional due process is required to deport him, and no standing order not to deport him exists.  He only can't be deported to EL Salvador without further due process. Since Bukele has now destroyed the gang he claims to fear in El Salvador, a rehearing would probably result in him being able to be deported back to El Salvador.

That is not a justification for ICE's action of abducting him and deporting him to a country where he was supposed to be protected from deportation. NY AG Letitia James calls Trump admin allegations of mortgage fraud ‘baseless’: interview

New York state Attorney General Letitia James said in a new interview that the Trump administration’s criminal referral of her for mortgage fraud is “baseless” but declined to give details.

James appeared on Spectrum NY1’s “Inside City Hall” Thursday, attempting to swat down allegations from the Trump administration that she falsified real estate records in Virginia and New York.

“Let me just say to all New Yorkers and to all Americans: The allegations are baseless. The allegations are nothing more than a revenge tour,” James told   NY1 political anchor Errol Louis.

some kind of folk hero. Another folk hero for the left.

I'm still seeing zero evidence of the majority of Democrats considering any of these people "folk hero's". That is pure hyperbolic bullshit rhetoric.

All you do is list four very different situations, lump them together and then claim they are heros of the left. I don't recall anyone here or anywhere who is saying Luigi shouldn't be held accountable for his crime. You had to pull some ridiculous interview with some likely single desperate technology reporter who thinks a criminal is hot. That does not make him a "hero of the left".

Please show me where any Democrats here or elsewhere are actually standing up saying Karmelo Anthony shouldn't be held accountable for his crime? All you do is point out that a gofund me was started for his legal defense. How the fuck does that make him a "hero of the left"?

As for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, those outraged by his rendition and forced deportation to an El Salvadorian prison is 100% based on a fierce defense of due process and the constitution. Anyone claiming it's anything other than that are complete fucking morons or just partisan shills trying to sell lies, or probably both.

So instead of continuing to post these tired seeds chock full of bullshit opinion, why not try and actually look at the real reason Democrats are upset by the Trump administration trampling the rule of law. So far, the defense from the right seems to be "Yeah, well they were bad guys so who gives a fuck about the rule of law!". That works great until you're on the other end of that and others are claiming you're guilty and want to string you up without due process because everyone around you has been convinced of your guilt before even getting to present your defense. We already know what that looks like and we've even seen those rabid mobs of idiots recently...

Hilarious attempt at deflection noted.

Republicans for the most part don't support that Fascist shithole.

Again, the lengths that some tired witless conservatives go to when they are desperately trying to rewrite the narrative in their favor is adorable. No one actually believes Ukraine is a fascist shithole other than those who have drunk the poisoned RT media cool-aid and are snuggling up under Putin's ball sack for protection. Fuck those worthless treasonous pieces of Putin loving fascist trash.

As for Garcia- talk to the judges that issued his deportation orders that were never carried out. He had his due process twice. Why do Democrats repeatedly ignore facts?

The facts:

In 2019, an immigration judge granted him "withholding of removal" status—a rare alternative to  asylum —due to the danger he faced from gang violence if he returned to El Salvador. This status allowed him to live and work legally in the United States. At the time of his deportation in 2025, he was living in  Maryland  with his wife and children, all American citizens, and was complying with annual check-ins with  U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement  (ICE).

On April 10, 2025, the  Supreme Court of the United States  unanimously [ c ]  ruled that Abrego Garcia's removal to El Salvador was illegal. [ 18 ]  The Court rejected the administration's defense, which claimed it lacked the legal authority to exercise jurisdiction over El Salvador and secure his return. Justice  Sotomayor  noted that this argument implied the government "could deport and incarcerate any person, including  U.S. citizens , without legal consequence, so long as it does so before a court can intervene."

In March 2019,   Prince George's County, Maryland   police arrested Abrego Garcia and three other men in a   Home Depot   parking lot, where they were seeking work as   day laborers . [ 2 ] [ 26 ]   One of the men claimed Abrego Garcia was a "gang member," but   The Atlantic   reported that, according to court filings, the man offered no proof and police said they did not believe him. [ 26 ]   Abrego Garcia was never charged with a crime in connection to his arrest. [ 27 ]

Police handed custody of Abrego Garcia over to ICE for deportation proceedings. In those proceedings, the government claimed that he was a member of the   MS-13   criminal gang because "he was wearing a   Chicago Bulls   hat and a hoodie with rolls of money   covering the eyes, ears and mouth   of the presidents" when arrested, and alleged that such clothes are "indicative of the Hispanic gang culture"

The government additionally cited a confidential informant who claimed that Garcia was active with an MS-13 clique based in New York, [ 2 ]  where he has never lived. [ 21 ]  The informant also claimed that Garcia held the MS-13 rank of  chequeo , though  chequeo  is not a rank within the gang and instead refers to yet-to-be-initiated recruits. [ 23 ]  ICE relied on information from a form that was filled out by a local police officer who was suspended not long after for "giving confidential information about a case to a sex worker", and thus was unavailable when Abrego Garcia's lawyer sought more information

Aruna Sury of the  Immigration Legal Resource Center  notes the fact that while information contained in I-213s is almost entirely  hearsay , such information is still considered inherently trustworthy and admissible in immigration proceedings. [ 29 ] [ 30 ]  An immigration judge in a  bond hearing  determined that the informant's claim [ 31 ]  was sufficient evidence for the purpose of denying Abrego Garcia's  bond  request; another judge upheld that ruling on appeal, saying the claim was not clearly wrong. [ 25 ]  However, no court has ever made a "full adjudication" of this issue. [ 25 ]  David Bier, associate director of immigration studies at the  Cato Institute , notes that the standards of evidence are lower in an immigration bond hearing than in a trial; in a bond hearing, the government's statement is assumed true and the  burden of proof  is on the defendant.

While awaiting the resolution of his deportation proceedings, Abrego Garcia married Vasquez Sura in June 2019, and they had a child together later that year, who is a U.S. citizen. He and his wife were also raising her two children from an earlier relationship, and all three children have  special needs . [ 2 ] [ 34 ]  Abrego Garcia and his family lived in Maryland.

A few months after his marriage, Abrego Garcia applied for  asylum  and withholding of removal. [ 35 ]  His request for asylum was denied, as one must submit an asylum application within a year of arriving in the U.S. [ 2 ] [ 36 ]  However, an immigration judge, David M. Jones, granted him "withholding of removal" status that would prevent his deportation to El Salvador due to the threat that gangs would pose to him, finding that there was a "clear probability of future persecution" there and that he had "demonstrated that [El Salvador's] [ d ]  authorities were and would be unable or unwilling to protect him." - Deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia - Wikipedia

So no, there were no prior deportation orders that were not followed, he was granted "withholding of removal" status that should have prevented his deportation to El Salvador as even the Supreme court has confirmed. Due process was not served.

What the rights argument really comes down to is that there are a bunch of bitter lazy fucking useless conservative bigots screaming and whining about brown "foreigners" being given asylum in America which the bigots see as eroding their white nationalist white supremacist conservative Christian culture.
