Those of you who live in the NYC area might be familiar with this ruin. The picture lends itself to suggesting some creative writing. A.Mac did this before and ran it as a contest, but this is not a contest. Not much in the line of rules for this, so just put together a line or a paragraph or two, or even a poem that you think is fitting.
Let's see some creative writing.
No two moments in time are identical; this becomes more obvious when, rather than regarding "time" and "place" as separate entities, we think of every experience in life as "timeplace" instead as the phenomena are virtually inseparable.
Awaiting nightfall with the rising of the full blood moon, the casket of Count Dracula lay deep inside the ruin that once was a grand castle nestled deep in the wooded valley of Transylvania.
The sky became darkened with the shade of deep red moonlight; silence broken by the beating of the wings of swarming bats as the lid of the casket slowly, slowly opened.
Must visit Detroit,
Land of Opportunity!
(Or perhaps not..?)

Fractured Haiku?
For Sale - Fixer Upper.
Submitted under the guise of non-fiction.
Before the crash of ought-fourteen, the future home of a natural gas fracking magnate, was taking shape. Now, due to a great protest movement of the people, it resembles European relics from the long forgotten era. This investment property is a real fixer upper, public sewer and water are available.
Good one, Robert G.!
