As I was going out to the garden, I glancedover at my Butterfly Bush, and saw this Monarch.This is only the second one I have seen in my yard this year!
Hopefully more will show up and you'll post more photos.
Thanks, I think they are probably beginning to migrate. One year I had so many in my yard on my Marigolds,it wasawesome!!

What a beautiful creature. I haven't seen any all summer. We do have the large yellow swallow tail butterflies all over the place - more than usual.
Thank you! I couldn't believe my eyes, I ran back into the house and grabbed my trusty camera!
They are pretty insects. Ddi you know that Butterflies can hear??
