Does a Flower Possess a Soul?

Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears.
Edgar Allan Poe

And would it then not be somewhat plausible to believe that whatsoever possesses such beauty, might also possess a soul? (My two cents).

But you tell me I took this shot this morning and it made me think about the question in my headline and further "Whoever/Whatever created this wonder (a Strawflower), did IT leave a portion of itself for the 'sensitive soul' to experience?"

If I believed in prayer, I would pray to the Spiritual Entity that may transmit its energy from among the petals

They live and they die, therefore they have a soul.
