Despite "Bachelor In Paradise" star Ashley Iaconetti saying she "may not be a virgin tomorrow" on this week's episode, TMZ reports the reality star is still holding out for Mr. Right."Tonights a huge night. I feel like its the turning point for my relationship with Jared,"Iaconetti said on Monday night's episode. "The Fantasy Suite usually goes along with thoughts of sex. I am physically attracted to Jared enough that I am fine with the thought of doing anything."However, sources told TMZ producers fed Iaconetti lines about losing her virginity. According to the gossip site, her friends said she knows her virginity made her famous and she won't lose it on television. The reality star penned an article in Cosmopolitan about the woes of dating as a virgin and being in the public eye."Some viewers complained that I brought up my virgin status too often and that I was just doing it for attention. Let me point out the obvious: This is reality TV. Contractually, I'm not allowed to reveal much but let's just say that, ironically, being a virgin becomes a salacious topic in the tabloids, and that benefits the show." http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/09/02/will-bachelor-contestant-ashley-iaconetti-really-lose-virginity-on-national-tv/?intcmp=hpffo&intcmp=obnetwork

I believe a girl can be sexy without having sex. It's difficult dating in today's hookup culture as a virgin. Women fought for this type of sexual freedom, and I think it's awesome women can be a Samantha or a Charlotte. I respect both types of sexual expression. However, because of it, there aren't many Gen-Y guys who are willing to give up casual sex or date a girl who will make them hold out. While some men find it a respectable quality in a woman, sure, it's not exactly the most alluring feature for many others. In my experience, it either intrigues men and taps into their competitive nature, or it will completely repel them they see virginity as something to chase and conquer, or they see your sexless company pointless.I'm obsessed with a lot of things; I'm a passionate, emotional person. (This was apparent on The Bachelor.) One of the few things I'm not obsessed with, however, is my virginity. My decision to remain a virgin isn't because of religious reasons. It's a matter of not just being with the right guy, but also being with him at the right time and I'll know that time when it comes. Until this year, I rarely discussed it! My best friends and I would talk about it, but I would always try to avoid sex-related chats with other friends who didn't know. This doesn't mean I'm ashamed though. I embrace my choice to stay chaste and I am proud of the decisions I've made in my life. I've always just regarded it as a private topic. But I knew the topic couldn't remain private on an emotionally invasive dating show. So why sign up for one, right? I'm a hopeless romantic; it honestly probably plays a psychological role in why I just won't give my V-Card up. I don't know whether to blame Titanic or The Wedding Planner, but at some point in my preteen years, I became convinced there were DiCaprios or McConaugheys out there who would not only save me, but save my shoe and slow dance with me in a park while eating only brown M&Ms. Where do chick flicks become reality? On The Bachelor, of course! Also, I hoped that opening up about my virginity on a dating show would help other girls waiting not feel alone, and that I might encourage girls who are feeling the pressure to give into a guy's desire or society's expectations to think further about their own feelings.
