Yes Nona, they are very powerful statues. With the way one is set in a reflecting pool and the other with the flags behind it, and then with Table Rock Lake and the mountains as background they are really powerful.
Beautiful photos. Each, IMO, tells its own story. Love the lake in the backgrounds, too.

Taken last evening from my boat. This is about 7 miles (via water)from where the two other photos were taken.
A good interpretation of ''End of the Trail'' MM. There are others as well, but I believe that most people when they see it, tend to agree with you.
