There are roughly 1 million identified species of insects it is a fascinating, diverse class of invertebrate life. I have this frustration that I will never even scratch the surface photographically in terms of photographing each one.
But, on the other hand, knowing there is always the chance that I can photograph one I haven't photographed before, is a great motivator to get "out there" and think, "maybe today."
Check the proboscis on the bumblebee as it uses it to suck the nectar from a milkweed flower.
I like photographing insects.

Let me start by saying that I am deathly allergic to these critters.
But the bumblebee is very pretty up close.

I hate it when I get stung by sales people. They make me fly off the handle.
