Please tell me you did not get that close to a bear. Actually, he looks a bit photoshopped around the edges.
I got the shot in Yellowstone I did subsequently Photoshop it for a project; but the original is legitimate. The bear did not go to my feeder which is in Philadelphia. There are only Black Bears in Pennsylvania -- I think the largest population of any state in the U.S. .
Phew! Stay safe. As cute as he looks, he wouldn't be so cute scrambling up a tree behind you. They scare the poop out of me.Btw, I saw my first black bear in western MD a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately for him, he was the victim of a car accident. Poor little guy.
Maybe I'll put up a sign.
