Metal Band Tombs Launch ‘Savage Gold’ Beer With ‘Enormous Notes’ of Marijuana
Theres something about metal and beer that creates a beautiful union, and were not just talking about any kind of beer. Tombs have just released their own Savage Gold IPA, which features enormous notes of white grape, green pepper, mango, and heres the kicker marijuana.
Metal musicians involved in the brewing industry are churning out artisan drinks worthy of critical praise from true craftsmen. For example, Municipal Waste s Toxic Revolution holds a BeerAdvocate score of 90/100, while Pig Destroyer s Permanent Funeral has been given a perfect 100/100 score.
Teaming up with Tired Hands Brewery in Ardmore, Pa., Tombs may be the next metal act to receive top honors with Savage Gold:
The Savage Gold beer is an imminently refreshing and crushable IPA. Brewed with red wheat and oats. Hopped intensely and aggressively with Nelson Sauvin and Hallertau Blanc. Enormous notes of white grape, green pepper, mango, and marijuana. 5.2% abv. Tired Hands will be holding a special event around the launch of the beer this Friday, July 18th at their brewery in Ardmore complete with giveaways of the bands new album Savage Gold. Info on the brewery is available HERE .

I like a beer with some skunkiness to it.
:~)
Now that's the attitude!
Absolutely; atmosphere is everything. Besides, lederhosen are vastly underrated and deserve fair treatment.
