Nice A. Mac. My dad grew straw flowers, I liked that they looked the same after they were dried and you could enjoy them for an extended period of time.
Oh man, did you and MM piss Rocky off, Mac. Rocky is our pet groundhog, and is aloving little critter and he loves the grapes that I leave for him on the driveway.
No worries MM, Rocky has his home at the top of our driveway. I go out in the morning and leave some grapes for him. Than watch him waddle down the driveway up to the porch and munch on the grapes.
With all the critters we have around here, you always have to keep your eyes open.
Don't think so. I've seen too many trees laying down because of this critter. Makes the perfect lumberjack. Where I grew up, where all those arrowheads came from was about two feet underwater at one time when these fellows kept damning up the main ditch running down to the river. It was amazing how they made a 20 acre plot of land in the woods a lake.
In all honesty A Mac, those are two of the most beautiful photos I've seen you put on here and you've put many wonder photos. Maybe it's because they are the last two, but very nice indeed.
Come on bye and say "hi!"
Good stuff to see here.

Nice!
Pat,
Tell me how to dry and preserve them and I'll send you one and a photo as well.
(If you like).
No response necessary.
News Flash.....It seems that the groundhogs and other critters are massing for a direct attack on the BBQ.
Great photos Mac.
Groundhog BBQ for all!
Well, maybe I'll just catch them in a humane trap and relocate them.

Rocky?
That's a Philly guy.
Oh Deer! That is a beautiful babe.
And is that flower her lunch?
Great shots, Mac!
The deer don't seem to like the strawflowers for some reason; roses are their favorite, then Day Lilies and certain varieties of Cosmos.
But to get their pictures is worth the trade off.
Oh yeah, I'm a Lampe guy. Wanna rumble.
