A Challenge to The NewsTalkers Authors and Poets from A. Mac & Sara G.
~ Here's How it Will Work ~
A Discussion with a PHOTOGRAPH will be posted on the Front Page from time-to-time.
There will be little or no information about the PHOTOGRAPH and NT authors, poets including any/all interested members will be CHALLENGED to submit a short story or poem in conjunction with the photo.
Each Photo-Challenge will include parameters such as word-limits and other related guidelines.
Story, poems submissions will be limited to ONE ENTRY PER CHALLENGE PER AUTHOR/POET.
Submissions will be sent to the NT E-Mails of either A. Mac or Sara G. .
One or more submissions will be selected to appear with the author/poet/member's name once a stipulated submission deadline passes. The author(s) name(s) will appear with his/her selected submission and the photograph about which the submission was written
By submitting an entry, an author is granting permission for that entry/submission to appear as indicated above ONLY ON NT AND ONLY AS PART OF THE CHALLENGE. The copyrights remain exclusively with the author(s).

Good question; only the screen name will appear and, because you own that, it will serve as the verification of your intellectual property rights.

The image above is just part of the promo for coming challenges. Stories, captions and poetry can be "literary" or humorous.
I'd like more feedback before posting the first challenge.

Additional Information.
In most challenges, no information will be posted regarding the challenge-image itself; but once the entries are posted, information about the image will appear with the image, these above the entries. in some cases, it should be fascinating to see how the entries jibe, or, completely fail to coincide with the image content itself!
We want creative work that can be imaginative, even far-out, yet somehow "fitting" the image.
There are quite a few good writers here on NT and hopefully this will be a venue in which they can show their stuff.
As a (retired) newspaper editor, I may not be able to resist correcting a misspelling here and there, but otherwise, the author is in the driver's seat.
We'll start soon I just want to give members a heads up.
