Music is the greatest product of the human race. With space flights, which is an astounding accomplishment, they bring music.
I like everything from opera to reggae. African music is fantastic. Brazilian music is incredible. Mozart, Bach, Beethoven. The gospel music of the Black churches. Even the drone sounds of the indigenous people of Australia on the didgeridoo. It's ALL good.
Purple Rain was one of the 1st pieces of recorded music I ever owned and I wore that album out. Along with every other one since. I cried when he passed..
Those videos take me back to a place in my mind. Back to the 80s, toolin around the back roads of our rural town with my best friend in my 77 CHevy Nova, listening to Prince cassettes and drinking PBR for her & Jack for me.
My most favorite -
All seven and we'll watch them fall
They stand in the way of love
And we will smoke them all
With an intellect and a savoir faire
No one in the whole universe
Will ever compare
Prince was one of the great ones.
My favorite Prince tune:
Back in the 80's when I was stuck on rock, he lifted the veil and opened a new world of music for me.
That's a very good thing. I'm into all kinds of music.
I am too now. Back then I just thought it was only cool to listen to rock.
Then I thought, what defines cool. I am not going to be stuck to one genre.

Diamonds and Pearls.
Not to be confused with....well, never mind.
This is a fantastic tune.
There wasn't a Prince song that I disliked. The following are some of my favorites though:
This last one is kinda dirty... I guess most were, but this one is a bit more obvious.
A lot of his songs were dirty.
That's why I said most were, but that one was particularly obvious.
Yep. Those were the days. A couple of Jello shots and a Prince song and I can't remember where I left my underwear.
"Get thee to a nunnery."
-Hamlet
That's what I said to myself in the wee hours of the same morning I decided to join the nearest convent.

I was not a fan of him or his music, but when I heard how his newborn son had died, I was heartbroken for him.
