Bob Costas Burns 'Loathsone' Trump, 'Toxic Cult' Fans

Sportscasting legend Bob Costas absolutely torched former President Donald Trump and his supporters on CNN, calling them a "toxic cult" being led by a "loathsome" and "disgraceful" figure."
Costas has been a vocal Trump critic, but has been equally vocal in advocating for President Joe Biden to bow out of the presidential race or be "shown the door" by Democrats.
Michael Smerconish hosted Costas on Saturday morning's edition of CNN's Smerconish, during which the broadcaster expressed both sentiments — but took his venom at Trump's fandom well past "deplorables" territory:

Bob, thank you for being here. Like the others that I've quoted from —
COSTAS: Hi, Michael.
SMERCONISH: — you come at this from a position of not wanting to see Trump get elected. You should state that at the outset. True? COSTAS: Yes, absolutely. He is by far the most disgraceful figure in modern presidential history. He's only become more disgraceful since 2016 and since 2020, he has a bubbling cauldron of loathsome traits. And it's only those who are actually suffering from Trump derangement syndrome, which is the way they and Fox News and all the rest of MAGA media try to brush aside all the legitimate criticisms of Trump.
You have to be, in the throes of some sort of toxic delusion in a toxic cult, to believe that Donald Trump has ever been in any sense, emotionally, psychologically, intellectually or ethically fit to be president of the United States. But his supporters are locked in on that. There is no cult of Joe Biden.

Bob Costas, one of the most level headed commentators we've ever seen in sports media and the media in general says that Trump followers are a cult, and he gets blasted by the trump cultish New York Post.
How any trump supporters could, at this stage ,be offended by being described as in a Trump cult. is one of the great mysteries of modern life.
Trump's campaign is constant hours and days of endless lying, incoherent sentences, and buffoonish behavior. And yet his popularity keeps growing among Republicans. That is a cult.

Just so you know, I don't care what anyone else says I make up my own mind and my own decisions. That includes not voting for Joe Biden at any time. I don't particularly c for Trump either but he is far better than Biden.
