This I agree with: Win or lose. Go (nimbly) on the offensive!

They are both so much more effective when reading what others prepared for them than when they speak their own mind.

I'm sorry but I think. . . it is inappropriate of me to waste time discussing intelligence or speech/articulation with those who choose to hold subtle partisan racist and ageist sentiments.

Republican political pundit Frank Luntz criticized the Democratic Party for the statement and being “No longer the party of ‘when they go low, we go high.'”

Former Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY), and former chair of the House Select Committee of the January 6 attacks on the Capitol, replied to Luntz’s complaint: “Well, when the party of Trump abandoned Lincoln, Reagan, and the Constitution, circumstances changed.”

Former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh of Illinois also responded, saying “After eight years of Trump, this is what you call ‘going low?’ This is an embarrassing tweet.” Walsh’s fellow former Illinois Republican Representative, Adam Kinzinger, wrote “Come on Frank.”

Luntz is referring to a famous Democratic moment, when First Lady Michelle Obama, speaking at the 2016 Democratic National Convention, said she told her young daughters “that the hateful language they hear from public figures on TV does not represent the true spirit of this country” and “that when someone is cruel or acts like a bully, we don’t stoop to their level. No, our motto is when they go low, we go high.”

No longer the party of ‘when they go low, we go high.

as if the party of “miitt Romney is going to enslave black people” ever practiced that.

I have watched Luntz for some time now. He tries to be free of Trump-think, but apparently his nature is to be a conservative in his thinking. I remember one news show 'detail' with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle, where Luntz was talking parenthetically about how some conservatives and by extension MAGAs formulate their policy prescriptions. . . that is, they overlook marginalized peoples policy hopes and aspirations based solely on the fact that they don't have the numbers to fight the 'power' conservatives can exert against them. Luntz revealed this so matter-of-factly that it was clear that he did not take conscience under consideration before being so plain-spoken. It was a definite tv- moment.

Too bad they didn’t let Biden deliver a speech rather than have his puppets put out a release.  He would have talked about how he buiit the  the bridge with his own hands  and watched his best friend die while doing so (despite his heroic efforts to save him), beating up 20 segregationists at one time  on it during a march and stopping xi from invading Taiwan during a summit in the middle of it

The release seems like satire.

Pretty much all of it.  But the part that struck me as the most funny is anyone connected with Joe calling Trump feeble confused and tired.

"America deserves better than a feeble, confused and tired Donald Trump"

Let's see if we can spot Waldo in there, somewhere.
