Joe Scarborough Rages at Fox News Over Trump Trial Coverage: ‘They Are Obsessed with Trashing America!’
“Where are you from? Because you may claim to be from where I’m from, but you were not raised by the same teachers I was raised by and you don’t read… I’m getting tired of saying this to people who claim to be patriotic but hate America, because they’re always running America down,” Scarborough said. They’re always trashing America. They’re always saying America is horrible, its democracy doesn’t work, we need a dictatorship if Donald Trump doesn’t win.”

MSNBC’s   Joe Scarborough   targeted Fox News and   Donald Trump   supporters in a lengthy rant on Tuesday in which he claimed Fox is “obsessed with trashing America” and Trump voters want a “dictatorship.”

During a discussion on Trump’s hush money trial in Manhattan on   Morning Joe , Scarborough accused the former president of “running down” and trashing the United States. He then honed in on supporters of Trump.

The   Morning Joe   co-host then laid into Fox News, claiming the network did not dedicate enough coverage to the first day of Trump’s trial.

The former president is facing more than 30   counts   stemming from a hush money payment made to adult film actress   Stormy Daniels   to cover up an alleged affair. Trump has denied all wrongdoing and described the trial as a witch hunt.

“I’ll just say it, on Fox News, they didn’t want to show Donald Trump in trial, so they got three protests and said, protests shut down America, basically. This weekend, there were like four migrants and a hound dog on top of a hill in New Mexico. They had their four migrants and a hound dog cam on for hours,” Scarborough said.

He went on to mock Fox by grabbing a microphone and impersonating a Fox reporter at the border confused by the lack of migrants.

Fox News covered Trump’s trial, but also reported on pro-Palestinian   protests   in the United States about the Israel-Hamas war as well as from the   southern border . Funds for Israel and the southern border continue to be tied up in congressional stalemates. Pro-Palestinian activists have also upped calls recently for a ceasefire following the death of a seven   aid workers   in Gaza from an Israeli strike.

Southern border crossings hit a   record high   at the the   end of 2023 , and President   Joe Biden   continues to   push   for the passage of bipartisan legislation he says would allow him to shut the border down.

Scarborough claimed on Tuesday that the focus on the border and these protests is part of an effort to make America look bad while Trump is on trial.

“They give their viewers anything to try to make America look bad,” Scarborough said. “They are obsessed on trashing America when America is stronger, more powerful than ever before. Its economy is stronger and more powerful than ever before.”

Joe Scarborough Deplores Kari Lake for Encouraging Violence By Telling Rally-Goers to ‘Strap on a Glock’

Colby HallApr 17th, 2024, 8:24 am 3-3 minutes   4/17/2024

Joe Scarborough   lamented recent rhetoric from   Kari Lake   and Senator   Tom Cotton , which seemed to encourage violent action from their political supporters.

During an Arizona rally on Sunday, Lake   said   to the assembled supporters:

The next six months are going to be intense, and we need to strap on our; let’s see, what do we want to strap on? We’re going to strap on our pair of seatbelts. We’re going to put on our helmet or your Kari Lake ball cap. We are going to put on the armor of God. maybe strap on a Glock on the side, in case. You can put one here and one in the back or one in the front, whatever you guys decide, because we’re not going to be the victims of crime. We’re not going to have our Second Amendment taken away. We’re certainly not going to have our First Amendment taken away by these tyrants.

Morning Joe   producers aired that clip, which was followed by Sen. Cotton doubling down on his   appeal that citizens forcibly remove pro-Palestinian protestors   who have recently taken to blocking traffic on bridges and airports around the nation.

Willie Geist   followed by noting, “Senator Cotton maintains he’s not calling for violence against the protesters, but did share a video on Twitter showing a group of men dragging protesters off the road, with the senator captioning quote, ‘How it should be done.'”

Scarborough followed by giving Cotton a tiny bit of credit before getting to the heart of what he said. “He can’t really step out of the fact that he was talking about ripping the skin off of people’s hands,” the   Morning Joe   host said. “He was talking about throwing people off the Golden Gate Bridge. I mean, he this happened on the Golden Gate Bridge said, well, and would throw him over the bridge. That’s where they need to do that. They need to. And so you have again him talking about violence.”

“And you just ask yourself what, why? Why is a politician think that’s the road to to popularity? Kari Lake talks about the Armor of God and carrying a Glock for some reason, without audience carrying a Glock gets a bigger chair than the armor of God,” Scarborough said pivoting to Lake, eventually ridiculing her mocking of former President Donald Trump’s political rhetoric.

“So, this is again this is just, again, the glorification of violence,” he concluded, “And the big question is, why does this glorification of violence sell so well in Donald Trump’s Republican Party? It’s it, it’s it’s sick, it’s sad, it’s un-American.”

Joe Scarborough is an idiot and a daily joke. No one with a brain takes him and his wife seriously. What was shown in Florida where things are done right is police dragging protestors off the street. It is not a bit violent. If police can't or won't act, then it is up to citizens to enforce the law.

It is a counter protest.  And if the Hamas protesters get in the way.......oh well, they get pushed out of the road.

Joes grasp on reality has just hit zero.
