Whoopi Goldberg Fumes At Kristi Noem Killing Her Puppy
By: Mediaite
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem's (R) admission that she shot and killed her "less than worthless" puppy, Cricket, had the hosts of The View hopping mad Monday.
Whoopi Goldberg began the segment calmly by claiming this issue has successfully united even the staunchest political rivals, "Both sides of the aisle do not agree on much right now, but they have been united in outrage over South Dakota's governor, Kristi Noem's, confession that she shot her 14-month-old puppy dog dead because she couldn't train it."
Goldberg then exploded, "Give it back, bitch! Give it back! Why you gonna kill it? She said it killed the neighbor's chickens. She defended herself though. She claimed that it was tough decisions like this that happen on farms all the time, and that she followed the law, and she was being a responsible parent, dog owner, and neighbor."
Sara Haines asked, "Which part was the parenting part?"
"I'm keeping this to myself. I'm going to let y'all talk about it," Goldberg said.
Alyssa Farrah Griffin said, "If your dog is acting wrongly, it's because you're incompetent at training that dog. And I grew up — we had big dogs, and we had chickens, and the dog did once get a chicken. Whose fault was it? Mine, for not having the dog somewhere where he couldn't get the chickens. But then what do you do? You train them!
"By the way, if you have really challenging dog, there are countless organizations to rehome them to somebody who loves the dog enough. I want justice for Cricket. It's terrible."
Sunny Hostin added, "You know, a sign of a sociopath is someone who kills animals. I'm not a clinician, but she killed her animal."
Some pundits claimed that Noem's admission in her new book may have taken her out of the running to be Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate.

Noem put her tongue on one the third rails of American politics.
Her national political career is over.
Mitt Romney got a lot of grief for putting hig dog in a crate on the luggage rack
If letting someone else kill a dog and then eating it did not kill a political career I would think this won't either. As a matter of fact considering how many people will buy her book or watch the shows that will try and make this a big deal I would wonder if most Americans will find out about this at all or change their vote because of it.
It was a 14 month puppy. She had plenty of time to train that dog to behave and not kill chickens.
These poor, sheltered, wokey-assed, urban whiners wouldn't last long on a farm. Where I grew up, a dog that attacked livestock had to be killed. Farmers and ranchers won't tolerate that crap. It's not difficult to get another dog.
The chasm between urban and rural lifestyles has become so huge that it's like living on different planets.
This fool bragged about it in a book.
Trying to impress Trump ?
I did not grow up in a rural area-- I had lived in a suburb. But that being said, in the past I have summered in rural areas, and traveled through many. So I've known a lot of people raised in those areas...
And your comment, while perhaps not a direct violation of the CoC, is a really nasty insult to rural Americans! (You are perpetrating a stereotype of rural people that is not only demeaning-- but totally untrue!)
I think he's trying to insult urbanites and sububanites
I lived on a farm growing up. Dogs are trainable. My dad taught his German Shephard to round up the milk cows from the pasuter in the morning and the afternoon to herd them down to the barn for milking. Pete knew every single cow and would wait on the creek bank until all of them went thru the tunnel up to the holding yard
Big difference between growing up on a farm and in a suburb near farms. Anyone who really worked a farm understands Nerms point.
It is spot on. I grew up in a burb but worked our old family farm. Dogs on our farm were not pets. They were working dogs. We had a family German Shepard we had to retire to the farm because he was just too protective of us kids and was a bite hazard to many of the kids in our neighborhood that had a propensity to tease and aggravate him. He had a long good life on that farm protecting it and the livestock but had he attacked the livestock, he would have been put down.
Citified people who have dogs as pets only are not prone to appreciate the nuances involved with this issue but. It makes for a great talking point to bag on a potential political rival. That’s for sure.
Noem is a fool, regardless of whether or not shooting the dog in the face was "justified". She didnt need to include that information in a book and was thus essentially "bragging" about it. Her career as a national political figure is over.
Opinions do vary.
Mine is that I find it interesting what the left finds abhorrent and/or acceptable when it comes to the topic of snuffing out life.
What stereotype? It really is a fact that farmers and ranchers have to kill things to make a living. It's a lesson farm children have to learn early.
But, weren't we told Whoopi got fired and The View was cancelled?
Well, I did hear it on, um, bad authority from a disreputable source...
We were also told by Whoopi she would move to Canada if Trump win. Why is she still here?
Probably because Trump lost...
In 2016 when she made the comment?
More current news:
It was one of our own NT'ers, wasn't it?
can't mention names tho
Amazing how these are the same leftists that are triggered by killing a dog, but have no problem ending the life of a child in a womb.
