Donald Trump on Tuesday ridiculously claimed that President Joe Biden was "locked & loaded ready to take me out" during the FBI's 2022 search for classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, marking the first time in modern U.S. history that a former president accused his successor of trying to kill him, The Washington Post reported.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) chimed in on X that the Justice Department and FBI under Biden "were planning to assassinate Pres Trump and gave the green light." She suggested she had warned Trump about it. "What are Republicans going to do about it?" she wrote.

The quadruply indicted president and his allies distorted boilerplate language in the Mar-a-Lago search warrant that authorizes deadly force if necessary.

The FBI said in a statement it followed "standard protocol in this search as we do for all search warrants, which includes a standard policy statement limiting the use of deadly force."

"No one ordered additional steps to be taken and there was no departure from the norm in this matter," the FBI said.

The bureau already testified it chose a day Trump would not be on the premises for the raid and let the Secret Service know to prevent drama, the Post noted.

The "deadly force" conspiracy theories erupted on social media after the language emerged in court filings released Tuesday.

Trump and his campaign team took full advantage after a day in court in his hush-money trial.

"They were authorized to shoot me!" read the subject line of his campaign's fundraising email, signed by him, the Post reported. "You know they're just itching to do the unthinkable. Joe Biden was locked & loaded ready to take me out & put my family in danger."

Earlier in the day Trump had mildly insinuated that Biden posed a threat to his life.

Biden and his administration "AUTHORIZED THE FBI TO USE DEADLY (LETHAL) FORCE. NOW WE KNOW, FOR SURE, THAT JOE BIDEN IS A SERIOUS THREAT TO DEMOCRACY. HE IS MENTALLY UNFIT TO HOLD OFFICE — 25TH AMENDMENT," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump faces charges of mishandling the classified documents and obstructing their retrieval in a trial that is now delayed. He also faces multiple charges in two cases centered on his alleged scheming to overturn the 2020 election.

HuffPost reached out to the White House for comment.

The question for discussion is what the fuck is wrong with Donald Trump.  If you want to change the subject to Biden, dont bother.

Nothing is wrong with Trump. But a whole lot of things are wrong about this just-for-show staged raid. This was all planned to be a media event. Trump was in negotiations with the powers that be on how best to return the documents. The Biden administration thought it would get a made-for-TV moment political boost by having various agencies storm Mar-a-Lago.  But if all fell apart when it was discovered that Biden had also kept classified materials.

Nothing is wrong with Trump.

F ox News host Jesse Watters discusses the FBI authorizing the use of "deadly-force" in the raid of former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in his opening monologue Tuesday on "Jesse Watters Primetime."

JESSE WATTERS:   A major bombshell in the Trump documents case. The FBI authorized the use of deadly force during the   Mar-a-Lago raid.   This according to documents filed by Trump's legal team. Agents in unmarked polo shirts planned to bring standard-issue weapons, ammo, handcuffs, medium and large-size bolt cutters, and even lock-picking equipment as they prepared to go door-to-door at Mar-a-Lago.

BIDEN ADMINISTRATION AUTHORIZED ‘USE OF DEADLY FORCE’ IN MAR-A-LAGO RAID

And they did, ransacking Melania Trump's bedroom along with Barron Trump's bedroom. The FBI also took extensive photographs of Melania and Barron's rooms for no apparent reason. Think about this for a second. Joe Biden sent men with guns to   his political opponent's house   and turned their bedrooms upside down. That's never happened in the history of the United States. And we've had some crazy presidents.

This was the former first lady and a professional model. These people are sick. And Biden complains about his son's privacy? Hunter's? He had armed men rummage through Barron's bedroom. The FBI even allegedly had a medic on site in case someone was shot.

Trump reacting: "Wow. I just came out of the Biden witch hunt trial in Manhattan, the ice box, and was shown reports that Crooked Joe Biden's DOJ and their illegal and unconstitutional   raid of Mar-a-Lago   authorized the FBI to use deadly, lethal force. Now, we know for sure that Joe Biden is a serious threat to democracy. He is mentally unfit to hold office-- 25th amendment." Trump's lawyers claim that the former president's constitutional rights were violated. It was an illegal search and seizure. The FBI misled the judge to obtain the warrant, and the raid was executed in an egregious fashion and in bad faith.

READ ON THE FOX NEWS APP

Nor was there any basis for the FBI to bring firearms   into Mar-a-Lago . What was life-threatening about pieces of paper? The FBI improperly seized Trump's passports, tax and accounting information, and even medical records. Think about that. The Biden administration seized his political opponent's medical records!

This is absolute nonsense," he said. "It is standard operating procedure to empower law enforcement to use deadly force, as we've seen in spectacular fashion over the last five years in many of these high-profile cases. Law enforcement's empowered to use deadly force when executing a search warrant. I wouldn't even call it a raid, it's a standard procedure when officers are appearing at a home."

Williams then explained that an authorization to use deadly force isn't a green light to barge into a building with guns blazing but gives law enforcement officials the power to use deadly force if they face legitimate threats to their own lives while conducting their search.

"If someone were, at the time they entered Mar-a-Lago, to be wielding machetes or firearms, of course law enforcement would be empowered to use deadly force!" he said. "The idea that this is somehow an assassination attempt is nonsense, it's absolute nonsense."

Not quite, a move like that would trigger an immediate impeachment inquiry, then Senate trial.  And if acquitted, the lawmakers that voted for acquittal will need to face the voters.

A move like that would really piss off quite a few people since the impeachment committee would consist of representatives elected to their position by the majority of their districts voters.  This is moving close to the reason for the 2nd amendment.

So, is it your opinion that a President has absolute immunity to commit mass murder unless he or she is impeached and then convicted by the Senate, and failing that, the only solution is somehow through elections, whatever solution that might provide?  Or are you suggesting vigilantism as the people taking corrective action?

Under the theory you apparently espouse, a President would have the power to suppress elections and use the military to quash any popular revolt against his homicidal government.  That is where the absurd and fallacious doctrine of absolute presidential immunity leads us.

“Or are you suggesting vigilantism as the people taking corrective action?”

A course of action that in times past would be considered impossible. It now maddeningly seems possible given the rhetoric so flippantly tossed around in these dysfunctional times…times bordering on the dystopian.

Well, you caught on quick.  The president is elected to do the people's and state's bidding and has to make the hard decisions without being hampered by legal prosecutions for his actions and there is a process provided to remove a president through impeachment and if that fails it goes down the list as you stated.

President has absolute immunity to commit mass murder

You don't seem to have caught on at all.  Presidents have limited immunity.  Absolute immunity is antithetical to the founding principles of the United States.  Absolute immunity would establish a dictatorship.  Of course, many on the extreme right wing apparently favor an authoritarian, dictatorial government.  The vast majority of sane, sensible Americans do not.

wars are a bitch

The scenario posited clearly contemplates a presidential regime making war on Americans.  In the context of the discussion, your comment "wars are a bitch" indicates disregard, and seemingly acquiescence, as to a President committing war against Americans.
