Tucker Carlson claimed during a recent interview with Donald Trump Jr. that the January 6th Capitol rioters were "pure-hearted" Americans.

Trump Jr. joined the former Fox News host for an interview on his new platform to discuss the former president's criminal conviction earlier this week in a Manhattan courtroom. Trump was convicted on 34 counts for falsifying business records regarding hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.

During his interview with Carlson, Don Jr. began slamming everyday FBI agents, arguing they need to speak up against DOJ leadership for the "bastardization of justice."

Carlson then went on to slam law enforcement and media figures who labeled the January 6th rioters as "insurrectionists."

"It's almost like you get kidnapped and the kidnapper has a mask on but once he shows you his face he's got to kill you."

This verdict won't stop Donald Trump. So what's the next step? @DonaldJTrumpJr and @TuckerCarlson discuss: pic.twitter.com/nV8IzbW0xb

TRUMP JR: I gave the door kickers a pass for far too long, which is like, hey, you know, they can't go against the leadership. But like, when you're watching this kind of bastardization of justice, when you're watching this sort of lopsided level, when they're, you know, they spend more time kicking down the doors of an Amish farmer selling unpasteurized milk than actually going after people committing terror because, you know, they're trans or, you know, whatever it is that they are, you really lose that ability to get that pass that I really wanted them to give. But, you know, I wanted to believe that everything I grew up believing was accurate. And it's all bullshit. It's just all bullshit. So we have to fix that. That's that's why we fight now, to actually make it so.

CARLSON: But you saw this on January 6th, too. I mean, I know that Joe Scarborough and the rest of the liars presented those people as like, insurrectionists and dangerous. They were actually the most pure hearted and most naive…I mean, they were they were literally walking with pocket constitutions. Saying, no, you can't do this. They believed in the system much more than the people who put them in prison, who don't believe in it at all.

TRUMP JR: Without question. And you saw that. I mean, you know, the narrative was pushed so much. The clips that they used were designed to create something that didn't actually happen. I mean, it's so sick.

They were actually the most pure hearted and most naive…I mean, they were they were literally walking with pocket constitutions.

And firearms.  And pepper spray.  And zip ties.  And flag poles used to pure heartedly attack police officers.

In total, the Secret Service confiscated “42 canisters of pepper spray, 269 knives or blades, 18 brass knuckles, 18 tasers, 6 pieces of body armor, 3 gas masks, 30 batons or blunt instruments, and 17 miscellaneous items likes scissors, needles, or screwdrivers'' from the 28,000 people who went through the magnetometers to enter the protest grounds at the Ellipse.  Many others refused to enter or hid their bags so they wouldn’t have their weapons confiscated.

a review of the federal charges against the alleged rioters shows that they did come armed, and with a variety of weapons: stun guns, pepper spray, baseball bats and flagpoles wielded as clubs.

"Just to be clear on terms, an insurrection is when people with guns try to overthrow the government," Carlson said during his  June 10 segment . "Not a single person in the crowd on January 6 was found to be carrying a firearm. Not one," he said. That’s wrong. Court documents, video evidence and news coverage directly contradict this characterization. Several rioters had firearms and dozens more wielded knives, bats and other real and makeshift weapons.

A Missouri man was sentenced today for carrying a firearm during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

January 6  rioter who carried two loaded handguns onto US Capitol grounds during the insurrection was sentenced to 60 months in jail on Friday after pleading guilty to assaulting an officer that day and unlawfully carrying a firearm.

An Illinois man accused of climbing scaffolding and firing a gun in the air during the riot at the   U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 , was arrested Friday. John Banuelos, 39, of Summit, Illinois, was charged with several felony and misdemeanor counts, including firearm charges

A member of the Oath Keepers who traveled with the group to Washington D.C. ahead of the Jan. 6 riot described a massive stockpile of firearms and other weaponry that allies had stashed in an Arlington, Va. hotel. “I had not seen that many weapons in one location since I was in the military,” recalled Terry Cummings, a Florida resident who said he joined the Oath Keepers in 2020

Etc..

Who the fuck do these people think they are fooling?  Oh, yeah.  That's right.  Trump cultists.

Where the hell in the Constitution is it written to incite an insurrection against your government because you're a sore fucking loser?

No one (who matters) at this point gives a flying fuck about this alleged insurrection.

Trump's conviction of what amounts to a bookkeeping error won't amount to much either

So 34 counts/cover ups and election fraud are bookkeeping errors

The alternate reality/delusion is hilarious

Hint - keeping two sets of 'books' isn't legal either

Trump gives a flying fuck about it.  He keeps talking about pardoning the insurrectionist criminals.  Oh, right.  You were talking about people who matter.  Sorry.

Trump's conviction of what amounts to a bookkeeping error

That's an amusing bit of propaganda.  No one (who matters) believes it for one second.

It’s like a nonsense word salad.

What the actual fuck does “pure hearted” mean? How do you break windows and doors, storm through barricades, and assault police officers with a pure heart?

I mean, they were they were literally walking with pocket constitutions

So what???? Any idiot can put a book in his pocket. That doesn’t mean he understands or accepts anything printed in there. What a crazy fucking standard! It’s cool, bro; I got a book in my pocket. Show some respect!

They believed in the system

Aanndd WELCOME to Opposite Day, when we say the exact opposite of the truth.

If these hillbillies believed in the system, they wouldn’t be protesting an election as fraudulent based on no evidence other than empty claims made by a lunatic narcissist. Trump went to court in that system something like 60 different times between Election Day and January 6, and he lost every time. Checks and reviews and audits and recounts were made all over the place with no change in the result. That’s the system. Not one of these morons “believed” in it.

And by the way, these same hypocritical imbeciles also don’t believe in the system that just convicted their savior of 34 felonies.
