The Disney News Channel
Has anyone here noticed ABC , the national network and local affiliates , have begun working pitches for Disney products into many of their newscasts.
It started with Good Morning America years ago but has now spread to the point where our local ABC affiliate in Chicago has begun including glowing blurbs about Disney shows and products, including the theme parks, into the "news" broadcasts more than once or twice every week. Sometimes it feels like every day. If Disney wants to advertise on ABC (which it owns) let them buy ads like every other company does and stop masquerading the latest episode of some Disney channel Star Wars stream as if it is legitimate news.
Even ABC's World News Tonight, the networks premier news broadcast has started doing this , and fairly often.
If I want to hear about Disney World five times a week I'll google it.
David Muir on World News Tonight is talking about Disney right now. It really is unbelievable how brazen they are.
Just months ago the were the darlings of the left.
