There is only one reason why Trump made this nasty, unpatriotic tweet on this national holiday, and it is because he is not president.

In his mind, if he is not president then everything sucks.

I have to laugh at people who, for some really unfathomable reason, keep claiming that Trump will unite the country.

So why all the bullshit? Why not just say, "Happy Thanksgiving to all Americans". Wow, that was so easy.

I think Senator Fetterman said it best.

"Does clutching the pearls so hard — does that change anything?" he said. "Did it work? Did it change the election? Was it productive? And, like, I can’t believe the outrage. That has to be candy for Trump." Fetterman berates Democrats for freaking out over Trump victory: ‘Just grab a grip’ | Fox News

It's your choice, but by continuing to freak out over everything that Trump says can only mean it's gonna be a really long four years for you.

And, he is your president.

Not really. If you are an American citizen, then he is your president come January and until he leaves office.

I believe this is the definition of a poor loser. Trump won the election and will be sworn in to office in January. He will be the president for the USA and for the citizens of the country for the next four years.

Just a three weeks ago you posted a seed asking if the person who wins the election would be your president. And you (and several others) all stated that should Trump win he would not be your president. I (and a few others) stated that we would accept the winner as our president.

Well, Trump won and will represent the USA to the world. Unless you rescind your citizenship, he is your president. It's simple. You don't have to like him or even support him, but he is still your president.

It hasn't happened yet.

So you don't deny that the progressive left divided the country, you should be thankful that the Trump administration is going to save our democracy, aka representative republic.  Every word in that tweet is true.

The Republican Party has become so hopelessly corrupt.  I’m at my parents and was just reading about how a local council member (R) will soon begin his term … from jail.  His guilty plea on a drug offense and subsequent sentencing were known when he received 85% of the vote.

Elon Musk sat directly next to Trump during Thanksgiving dinner at Maralago.  Even did the YMCA dance while sitting there.

I guess he doesnt have any family or friends that give a fuck about him on Thanksgiving.

Another comparison would be that Musk is to Ivanka what JD Vance is to Tiffany.

And yet somehow the resistant reight is telling us to just wait and see, echoing earlier times when he was going to become "Presidential" at some point in the future. That point never arrived, yet they are still acting like the time when Trump will stop behaving like an angry two-year-old is going to be just around the corner.

He is never happy and neither are his devotees. He is the division in America and he doesn't want to heal the divide. As long as he can stoke his base to embrace his personal grievances the divide remains. That is how he controls them. If anyone ever wants to break through to his base it will take expert cult deprogramming. They are conditioned to hate Democrats, "own the libs", and blindly parrot his words and rhetoric. Poor winners indeed and when they lose they attack the American capitol and law enforcement with a violent riotous mob then expect forgiveness? Hand out pardons for being sore losers and then mete out "retribution" when they win? There is no winning with him or his mob if everything on gods earth is approached with hatred and grievance.
