Have you noticed that none of Trump's nominees have any qualifications for the jobs they've been nominated for? They've all been nominated for their loyalty to Trump.

P.S. I made no threat against Trump. Just a prediction judging by his words and actions so far and he hasn't even been sworn in yet.

Do you think Gaetz was a good pick for AG?

Do you think Hegseth is a good pick for Secretary of Defense?

Do you think convicted felon Charles Kushner is a good pick for Ambassador to France?

Thinking these are good picks based on the fact that political opponents dislike them is an extremely error-prone way to operate.   Focus on the merits rather than partisan opinions.   The ones I listed are quite obvious.   My expectation is that since you think Patel is a good pick, you will stand and salute all three; you might bow on Gaetz given the public outcry from GOP members against him ... that would be following, in a partisan fashion, their lead.

So well qualified people who did their jobs is just way too much for those on the right. What the right wants are folks who will burn it all down so all we have left is a bunch of toothless halfwit assholes clinging to their AR-15's as they sit around a whiskey still cooking on the burning rubble of the white house. The rightwing conservative's preferred method of making sure they're the smartest people in the room is to just threaten to shoot anyone smarter than themselves that won't leave, which is pretty much everyone else in America.

Patel co-wrote the Nunes  memo that accurately portrayed how the DOJ lied and misused information obtained from the hoax dossier to  spy on american citizens.

Adam Schiff then wrote a memo that lied and misrepresented the DOJ's actions to attack Nunes and label the truth a conspiracy theory.   That the Nunes memo was truthful and the Schiff memo a lie wasn't conclusively proven until the IG report came out, by which times Schiff's lies had served their purpose.

That Democrats attack Patel and rallied to elect Schiff to the Senate speaks volumes.

No, Ed, it is absolutely NOT the case that every administration loaded itself with sycophants.   There is a fundamental difference between a sycophant and like-minded individual.   The former does what the PotUS says and will compromise integrity to earn/keep favor.   The like-minded individual will serve their office and will NOT simply tell the PotUS what he wants to hear and back down on any difference of opinion.

What Trump is doing right now is historically unique.   He is surrounding himself with people who are slavishly loyal to him regardless of their competence to perform the job.

It is a profound disappointment that people do not see this as well as many other things that Trump has done.   The blindness here is both mind-boggling and concerning.

Has it escaped your attention that Trump's VP was totally against Trump at first and has now become his sycophant in chief?    Have you not seen many early critics of Trump flip to be devout followers of the asshole?    Have you missed all of this?
