At the fringe, conspiracy theory-laden, Reawaken America Tour in May 2023, Kash Patel made reckless statements calling for mass firings within the FBI, proving he is unfit to lead the agency. “Government reform is government reduction,” Patel declared, outlining a radical agenda to slash the FBI’s workforce.
Patel took it further by saying, “You just eliminate the majority of those positions,” advocating for the mass termination of federal law enforcement professionals. He also pushed an election-denialism themed conspiracy theory, claiming, “We know they rigged multiple elections,” falsely implying that the FBI and Department of Justice manipulate election outcomes.
