Comedian Bill Burr said billionaires should be "put down like rabid fucking dogs" in a rant on his Monday Morning Podcast.

On his podcast, Burr responded to a message from a fan saying she is a mother with a full time job and she's struggling financially.

"The amount of people struggling out there because of these fucking billionaires, and they got us all arguing liberal and conservative. We gotta stop doing that. I'm so tired of hearing about people going to bed worried about what's going to happen next week," Burr said.

Burr's comments come just a couple months after Luigi Mangione allegedly shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, sparking intense debate about healthcare and wealth in the United States with critics, mainly on the left, expressing similar complaints as Burr did on his podcast. Burr himself drew parallels with Mangione in January on air with Jimmy Kimmel.

The comedian added that "it's bad for the country" that people work full time jobs and still can't afford their rent. Taking on a second job, he argued, only means parents spend less time with their children, creating a set of new issues.

"They need to be put down like fucking rabid dogs," Burr said of billionaires en masse during Friday's podcast.

Billionaires, he said, are "dividing people" and distracting people with political arguments about left versus right.

Burr then went after President Donald Trump's plan to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the calling him a "laminated face cunt."

"The fucking epitome of this time right now, like how divisive we are that, like, the Gulf of Mexico is now the Gulf of America, and people get excited. Like, how the fuck does that help your wallet? It's an empty gesture. And then it's also like a racist gesture," Burr said.

Trump's plan, he added, really amounts to a simple message: "Fuck Mexicans."

"That's the white guy saying 'Fuck Mexicans' without saying it," he said. "You know, like who has a fucking problem with Mexicans? What is the real problem? This is just such an ugly fucking time."

Probably because he isn't damaging the country but is in the process of repairing all the damage the progressives have caused.

I suspect that a fair number of leftists and progressives are on this list of billionaires.

No one in Alaska calls Denali, Mount McKinley, no one.

It's a spiritual thing to the locals, always has been.  Since 1975 Alaska has passed bill after bill asking the Feds to change the name back to Denali.  In 1977 Carter changed the name of the National Park to Denali National Park but left the mountain as McKinley.

40 years later as the Alaskan Legislature asked one Administration after another to change the mountain's name, Obama agreed.

If it had been anyone other than Obama, the official name would still be Denali to all Americans. But this is the Retribution and Revenge Administration.  Obama still lives rent free in Trump's head.

And Burr's comments about the Gulf of America? Spot on.  It goes hand in hand with trying to deport 11 million people to Mexico or Gitmo without due process.

Trump worships money and extremely rich people. He doesn't care at all about the American making 40 or 50 thousand dollars a year. There is no doubt at all that he considers such people to be suckers and losers.

He recently named Rupert Murdoch and some other billionaire as presidential advisers.

Things are going to get worse before they get better,

I knew I could count on one or two of the usual people to take issue with that comment.

One of the premier global news agencies in the world, the AP is now barred from AF1 flights and covering the White House in person because a thin skinned 78 year old POTUS bent on revenge and retribution decided to call the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America.

Perhaps the editors of those Alaskan papers recognize their own fragile economic situation and have decided to fight the

FED and the White House another day and not poke the bear in the eye.

The Governor of Alaska, the Alaska legislature and Alaska's two Senators in Congress disagree and have presented bills to reverse the whimsical Trump EO.

‘In Alaska, it’s Denali’: Murkowski, Sullivan unite with state leaders on Alaska mountain’s name

Trump’s order renaming Denali as Mount McKinley dismays many Alaskans - The Washington Post

That's a red state, red government which went for Trump by 13% saying, no thanks, we can name our own shit.

Cool. No one is stopping them or you from calling it Denali, McKinley or any of the other names the natives called it. Knock yourself out.

They weren't then or now.  He compromised.  Took the McKinley National Park and renamed it Denali National Park thinking that was enough

Typical Carter inefficiency.

Cool.

Thanks for nothing.

No one is stopping them or you from calling it Denali, McKinley or any of the other names the natives called it.

The next thing Denali National Park will be called is "Closed to the Public"  as the Denali rescue team has been reduced to 6 people to cover the seasonal 500 plus climbers plus millions of seasonal visitors

and seasonal offers for employment were rescinded a few weeks ago.

"The amount of people struggling out there because of these fucking billionaires, and they got us all arguing liberal and conservative. We gotta stop doing that. I'm so tired of hearing about people going to bed worried about what's going to happen next week," Burr said.

Well, when Lincoln imagined our country in 1863 becoming a new "government of the people, by the people, for the people" which "shall not perish from the earth" I'm sure he was only thinking white rightwing conservative Christian billionaires as those "people" that should run the government for themselves. There's really no chance he could have meant to include other immigrants who worship other Gods or no God at all, right?

"The fucking epitome of this time right now, like how divisive we are that, like, the Gulf of Mexico is now the Gulf of America, and people get excited. Like, how the fuck does that help your wallet? It's an empty gesture. And then it's also like a racist gesture," Burr said. "That's the white guy saying 'Fuck Mexicans' without saying it,".

Exactly. It's how the sniveling bigots can slap Mexico and Mexicans in the face without having to do it on an individual basis.

Though, if that were an option, I'm sure a majority of Trump supporters would be lining up at the border to slap a Mexican as they get deported. It would basically be a dream come true for many of them.

I'm sure it would go something like..."Hey, I know you've likely been here in our country doing excruciating back breaking labor for next to nothing which has kept produce costs down while also feeding your family back home that was living in poverty, or perhaps you were cleaning our homes and mowing our lawns and doing many of the jobs we didn't want to do ourselves, but fuck you!" 'slap' "We don't want yer kind round here no more!".

Then another conservative voice speaks up and says "Hey Jimbo, I don't think we should say it like that. We need to reframe your very valid argument so that it maximizes the fear we've been nurturing among our base voters. So instead, you'll want to say 'Hey, I know you've been here in our country doing drugs, stealing our jobs, sending money to drug lords and shit, raping our women, stealing from our homes, so fuck you!' 'slap' 'We don't want you criminals round here no more!'. See how that makes it look more like we're the good guys in this? Sure, only a tiny percentage of the undocumented immigrants bring in or deal drugs here or have committed any other crime other than being here without legal documents, but that shouldn't stop us from making it look like they're all vicious drug dealing killers, should it?".

What did Brandon do for Gazans and those in the West Bank?

He literally dropped aid packages on their heads killing them when the chutes failed. Those drops also headed out over the water where people literally drowned trying to retrieve them. He built the completely worthless temporary dock that didn't survive the first storm; and none of the food reach those that needed it because there was no distribution system in place. Outside of telling Israel "don't" when it came to invading and bombing refugee camps inside of Gaza- where Israel had herded Palestinians; he did jack shit of nothing to stop them. They ignored his "don't" and went ahead with it anyways.  They just delay if for a few months so more Palestinians could die from starvation and exposure.

Brandon did nothing for the West Bank Palestinians other than pat Abbas on the head and tell him what a good guy he was for quelling his people over Israel's massive expansion of the West Bank settlements; and the settlers/IDF assaulting and forcing Palestinians off their own land. But the PA still received their US cash, just like Israel, for doing jack shit of nothing to help the Palestinians.

Trump is merely allowing Bibi to say the quest parts out loud; and using his blow horn mouth to amplify them. If Brandon or Democrats gave a shit about the Palestinians they had their chance to rein them in long ago.

As for Burr, he will be held to the same damn standards leftists hold conservatives to. He said it plaiinly; he didn't mince words; and there is no questioning his meaning.  The secret service should be paying his ass a visit.

Meh..  This is just basically the modern version of polack jokes. Most everybody on this site are old enough to realize how comedy has changed over the years and this is the latest "acceptable" type of deprecating humor. IMO a comedian to targets a group of people is a very weak comedian.

What do you think a polack joke is then? It's just another attempt of deprecating humor that uses a group of people as the target. 50 years ago it was ethnic jokes, today it's billionaires. Who knows where it will go next, but it will definitely change with the times. It's what weak comics use in an attempt to be funny/witty/hip/whatever you want to call it.

I condemn Mr. Burr's sense of humor on this. I sense (but will need more on background and context) that it is a joke; but reading it raw in the actual article still. . . it can take on a life of its own.

That said, I am reminded of something Mitt Romney stated, 'Money should be talked about in private settings.' (Or something to that effect.) The meaning being rich people should keep low-profiles where their actions and decisions weigh DIRECTLY on the hearts and minds of ordinary folks, because of a fear of class backlash of one type or another.

Case in point: Tesla Company locations have been targeted and protested in California this past weekend. Now, the company's salesforce may soon feel the impact in their income/lifestyle. As Tesla car owners begin to feel conspicuous and a bit like their expensive, trending, and futuristic car has 'JUMPED THE SHARK.
