At a news conference Tuesday,   President Donald Trump   blamed Kyiv for the Russia-Ukraine war.

Speaking on his peace talks with Russian President   Vladimir Putin , Trump told reporters that Ukraine did not need a seat at the negotiating table because it "should've ended [the war] in three years. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal."

The ugly truth is, Trump got impeached his first term for trying to blackmail Ukraine to fabricate false evidence against President Biden...

From the linked article,

Defense Secretary  Pete Hegseth  last week ruled out Ukraine returning to its pre-2014 borders or gaining NATO membership—both big victories for Russia.

So they are now trying to blame trump and hold him accountable for Barry's fuck-ups as well as Bidens? What possible reason could there be for this? I know why they expected less from Biden, he was senile, but what was different about Obama that would lead them to expect less from him?

Does anyone in their right mind think that the leader of NATO, sipping a Capuchino in Brussels, was ever going to put NATO on the hook for defending Ukraine or that Joe Biden would risk Washington DC for Kyiv?

Ukraine was never really going to become a NATO member and btw: a country at war cannot be admitted as a NATO member.

I find it very telling that rightwing conservatives are angry and bitter at Democrats for daring to defend an ally while those same conservatives never say even a single bad word about Putin who started this war and assassinates political opponents and IS in EVERY sense of the word a dictator. It sickens me that so many supposed Americans can be so nonchalant about kneeling to Putin which is exactly what Trump supporters are doing. They are getting down, face to the pavement and kneeling before a vile murderous dictator and essentially giving him the go ahead to commit mass genocide all because they think their tax dollars might be going to save someone other than a rightwing white nationalist conservative fascist. Disgusting.

It isn't easy to give Neville Chamberlain a good image. Trump has succeeded. At least Chamberlain didn't require Czechoslovakia to give him its natural resources, as he abandoned it to Hitler..

All of it. It's frankly disgusting as are Trump and any supposed Americans supporting this wannabe dictator. They should be ashamed of themselves, but I realize that Trump found his base among the poorly educated, white supremacists, bitter religious conservatives and all those that have no souls and no conscience which is why they clearly have no shame. Morals, shame, patriotism and love of the constitution had to all go to become a Trump cultist. MAGAites only love themselves and Trump, they care nothing for the rule of law, our allies, not even their fellow Americans if those Americans don't look like they do, pray like they do, love like they do and suckle Trump's tiny mushroom like they do.

Considering the bulk of the money to rebuild Ukraine will likely come from us, is this really such a bad idea?

Trump never allowed Russia to invade anyone.

Your ridiculous comparison should be reserved for Obama and Biden.

Which country invaded which? Russia is the aggressor. This war would not have happened if Russia had done nothing. They had nothing to protect. Thousands of lives would have been spared if Russia did not invade.

The ridiculous thing is that Trump can claim that Ukraine started the war and the bald-faced lie has no effect on his supporters other than to cause them to rejoice that he is saying something. Then his supporters get to go on their social media sites of choice and proclaim what a wonderful job he is doing, comfortable in the false security caused by "action" even though the result of these actions will leave their country reeling economically and relationaly due to his ham-fisted way of approaching a problem.

Are you saying that you want Ukrainian victory?

In that case Trump can spend his time on the many other problems he was saddled with. Good luck to Zelensky.

The point is that Trump has blamed Zelensky for the war, called him a dictator, claimed his approval is down to 4%.

The point is that Trump is doing his usual crap once he has deemed someone to be 'enemy'.   His public lies about Zelensky make it quite clear that he has aligned with Putin against Zelensky.

Ah yes.    The power of words.

What Trump actually said:

“ … he should have never let that war start”

Quite a bit different from the load of disinformation this horseshit your seeded article is pushing.

This points out the fact that the war started in the first place, is a complete failure of diplomacy by Ukraine, Russia, the US and the EU.    Bidens US by the way …..

Trump aquesesses with Russia because Putin has copies of the infamous 'pee tape'. It's not that Trump is in fear of Putin releasing the evidence....NO, Trump fears Putin will deny him access to those freaky Russian hookers when he visits next time. /s

Let's face facts. Trump is likely going to capitulate on whatever Putin wants and that will inevitably lead to tens of thousands more Ukrainians being killed and giving half their country or more to Russia. Those lives will be lost directly because of Trump. Those who voted for the convicted felon last November will have our allies' blood on their hands.
