A fool named Brian Glenn , "chief White House correspondent" for the far right conspiracy addled cable network Real America's Voice, harassed Zelensky at the White House the other day because he wasn't wearing a suit, which some say helped lead to the chaotic outcome of the meeting he was having with Trump and Trump officials.

Glenn is evidently also Marjorie Taylor Greene's boyfriend (which tells us a lot about him).

When the meeting was opened up to questions from reporters, one came from Brian Glenn, chief White House correspondent for conservative cable network Real America's Voice.

"Why don't you wear a suit?" Glenn asked. "You're at the highest level in this country's office, and you refuse to wear a suit.

"Do you own a suit?" he continued. "A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the dignity of this office."

The aggressive questioning marked the moment when the Ukrainian president – who until then seemed to be having a diplomatic, even friendly, conversation with Trump – first appeared tired and irritated.

"I will wear costume after this war will finish," Zelensky replied. (The word "suit" can be translated into Ukrainian as "kostyum".)

The Ukrainian president then made a verbal jab at the reporter.

"Maybe something like yours, yes. Maybe something better, I don't know," he said, to laughter in the room. "Maybe something cheaper."

Glenn's question gave voice to a longstanding gripe in the world of Make America Great Again (Maga) politics, where some - like JD Vance - argue that the Ukrainian leader does not seem to be showing enough gratitude or respect to the US for three years of military aid.

A former local TV reporter in Dallas who became better known in conservative circles for his work at another pro-Trump channel, Right Side Broadcasting Network, Glenn is an unabashed Trump fan. Last year   he told Politico   that he was "100 percent behind President Trump and the America First agenda."

He is also reportedly dating Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Georgia congresswoman who is one of Trump's most outspoken supporters.

Glenn was in the room as part of the White House press pool, a group of reporters which covers the president at official events on behalf of the wider media.

The   Trump administration took control of the pool   this week from an association of journalists, saying it would give more access to "new voices". It has continued to   bar the Associated Press   from the pool.

Zelensky proved himself to a man of honor and loyalty to his country and refused to be bullied by Trump

He proved to be what he dresses like- a Fascist.

Zelenskyy went into the meeting intending to sabotage the peace negotiations before they even started. He tried to set preconditions for peace (since when does the losing nation ever get to set conditions?); and then went on an extended rant against Putin poisoning the waters. What he stated was true; but it does not matter. He can think it all he wants- but saying it out loud was beyond stupid.

Trying to force the US to guarantee Ukraine's security is nothing short of asinine. What does he expect US boots on the ground in Ukraine defending their borders like every other NATO country?

Still waiting for everyone in the US that supports Ukraine to buy a plane ticket to Poland and cross the border. It is simple. It is how the US has funneled military goods into Ukraine. Putin isn't even trying to stop it. Ukraine needs bodies for the Russian meat grinder; they are quickly running out of their own. With winter ending the spring push by Russia is about to start- the timing couldn't be better.

What he wore was better than a suit.

Hopefully I will not have to wear " costume " ever again!

That question threw him off? A question about his clothes caused his petulance? That’s embarrassing

Why are we having low rent conspiracy theory channels like real America's voice allowed to participate in presidential press conferences

It's called freedom of the press. You know, difference of opinion expression ability.

Why didn't he dare manage a press pass to ask why Musk dresses like a Goth teenager wearing a baseball hat in the White House?

Musk is far more disrespectful to the White House, America, our Constitution, our jobs, our military, and our laws.

Republicans make a bigger deal over things like this to mask the horror of their policies. Obama's tan suit, Michelle Obama in a sleeveless dress, now they waste time on insulting the wartime President of another country.

If President Zelensky had worn a suit they would have insulted him for spending money on a nice suit while his country is at war.

You cannot make Republicans happy and they respect no one. They have abandoned democracy, abandoned the Constitution, abandoned their own constituents, and abandoned their principles in favor of an authoritarian dictator.

Because leftist media is already crying about it. That point has been hashed and rehashed already.

Musk is far more disrespectful to the White House, America, our Constitution, our jobs, our military, and our laws.

Where were you for the last four years of the Brandon administration?

Republicans make a bigger deal over things like this to mask the horror of their policies.

Yet somehow they still won the last federal elections and assumed power in the White House, Congress, and Senate.

Obama's tan suit, Michelle Obama in a sleeveless dress, now they waste time on insulting the wartime President of another country.

You mean Fascist dictator from another country. Democrats and leftists love Zelenksyy because he has done what they can only dream about. Shut down opposition parties; arrested his political opponents; ended free media- only 2 state run media stations running news that he preapproves; rolled Nazi and Fascist organizations into the military and government; and suspended elections.

If President Zelensky had worn a suit they would have insulted him for spending money on a nice suit while his country is at war.

He would still have been a fascist dictator. He is just too arrogant and condescending to change his attire. He likes to dress the part of a faux John Wayne in tailor made khakis.

You cannot make Republicans happy and they respect no one.

Can say the same damn thing about Democrats and leftist.

They have abandoned democracy, abandoned the Constitution, abandoned their own constituents, and abandoned their principles in favor of an authoritarian dictator.

Again, where were you and the rest of the leftists for the last four years of Brandon's administration. Besides cheering them on.

I think what they wanted was for him to stop by a goodwill and show up in an ill-fitting leisure suit, preferably stained.  I think he looks great in what he wears.  Tell the conservative fashion police to go back to ridiculing Fetterman.

So, the argument is that Volodymyr Zelenskyy was triggered?  That might make some sort of sense inside the far left bubble.  But it's not an endorsement of Zelensky's ability to deal with Vladimir Putin who has been both ally and enemy of Ukraine.  If Zelenskyy can't deal with a clown like Trump then what chance does he have against a Russian oligarch who has been in power for 25 years?
