Susan R. Williamson is a poet and past Director of the Palm Beach Poetry Festival. Her poems have appeared in Beltway Quarterly, Crab Orchard Review, Paterson Literary Review, Poetry Daily, Poetry East, Smartish Pace, StorySouth, SoFloPoJo, and The Virginia Quarterly Review among others. She holds an MFA in Poetry from New England College and a BA in French Language and Literature from the University of Virginia. Her chapbook, Burning After Dark, won the Hannah Kahn Poetry Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Prize. A born Virginian, she now lives in Boca Raton, Florida with the Maltese known as Beauregard Berger of Boca Raton aka "Beau."
