Defense/Agression spending
We do not have a huge Military budget to fund Defenses we have a huge budget to fund Aggression military weapons to allow invasion in any country we decide to invade often for made up reason ( lies ).
We spent 22 or 23 Billion on the last contract I heard of to fund the civilian military forces of US owned Corporations fighting in Iraq still and Afghanistan where next and what lie do we use next time.
Military establishment runs this country its our biggest manufacturing base. What 50+ percent of all spending is for military and most of that is new weapons procurement. Not defense spending but Aggression weapons.
The real reason is how much is enough do we need to cut Social Security, Food stamps and Child lunches and medicaid, medicare, public education so we can fund more new weapons procurements. So really just how much is enough. Do the Rockefellers need more money. Billionaires are owners of our Military Manufacturing Complex. Where do we draw the line. Well no end in sight. We would rather not look out for our people like first world countries to become the strongest baddest killingest muthers who ever lived. One thing to think of is The military regimes eventually fall. We are following in Russia's giant footsteps.
